With increased enrollmentin highereducation inChina,moreand morepeopleare pursuing master’s ordoctorate degrees.However,goingto graduateschoolisa tremendous investmentoftime,energyandmoney. You should becertainthatthis investmentwill help youachieveyourfuturegoals. Ifyouhave astrongdesireforadvancedstudiesofa chosensubject,if youaresure aboutyourcareergoalsandanadvanceddegree is requiredforentranceintoyourchosenfield,thengraduate school istherightplaceforyou. Graduate studycan beverychallengingbutrewarding. Thisarticlefirstpresentsthreeskillsneededtobesuccessful ingraduateschool,namely, skillsasdetective,translatoranddiplomat. It thendiscussesthe challengeswaitingfor youingraduateschool,challengesofchoosingasuitablegraduateprogram, ofstudyingunder pressures,ofbalancingwork, personallifeandschooldemands.Italsopointsoutstrategiesforsuccess,suchaschoosingtherightschool,managingwellyour timeandhandlingstress.
