THELIFECYCLEOFBUILDING
ABSTRACT
SustainableBuildingisaglobalissue.Thelifecycleofbuildinginfluencesthelifecyclesof
thewholeplanetdramatically.
SomeofthemethodsconcerningEnvironmentally-SoundandHealthyBuilding,developedandusedinTheNetherlandswillbepresentedanddiscussedintheperspectiveofworldwideeffects.Awarenessaboutanddevelopmentofthosemethodsandapproachesareactuallyyetnotattheirend.
ThescientificandtechnicalcomplexityofthethemeandthefactthattheobjectivesareitemsofcommercialandpoliticalinterestsmakeSustainableBuildingadelicateproblem.
However,afterhavingseenhowcomplicateditistocontributetoaSustainableDevelopmentsubstantially,wewillconcludewithsomeRulesofThumbandInnovativeproposals,inordertostimulatemoresignificantcontributionsinthefuture.
