1.过去进行时

1）概念：

表示过去某一时刻，某一阶段正在进行的动作。

2）构成：

was（were）+V.ing（现在分词）

3）过去进行时的用法：

有atthistimeyesterday,atthattime,at7o’clocklastnight,from7to8yesterdayevening等时间状语时，要用过去进行时。

IwaswatchingTVatthistimeyesterday.

Weweredoingourhomeworkfromseventoninelastnight.

强调过去某一时刻正在进行的动作，要用过去进行时。

--Whatwereyoudoingatsixyesterday?

--Iwasdrawingpictures.

强调过去某一段时间正在进行的动作，要用过去进行时。

Mr.Leewasmendinghiscarfrom1p.m.to2p.m.yesterday.

用于while,when,as引导的时间状语从句中。

ItwasraininghardwhenIleftmyoffice.

Hewaslisteningtothemusicwhensomeoneknockedatthedoor.

Whenyoucalled,Iwassingingkaraoke.

Whatwereyoudoingwhenyourfathercamein?

WhileIwascleaningthewindows,mymotherwassweepingthefloor.

过去进行时也常用于宾语从句中。

Hesaidhewasplayingcomputergamesatthistimeyesterday.

go,come,leave,arrive,move,fly,travel,start,return的过去进行时表过去将来（也是多用于宾语从句中）。

HesaidhewasleavingforCanadatomorrow.

【注意】过去进行时和一般过去时的区别：

过去进行时和一般过去时都是过去发生的事情，但过去进行时侧重过去某一时刻正在进行的动作或所处的状态，强调动作连续进行，而一般过去时则表示单纯的过去事实。

2.过去将来时

1）概念：

表示从过去的某个时间来看将要发生的动作或存在的状态，常用于主句是过去时的宾语从句中。

Theyweregoingtohaveameeting.

ItoldhimthatIwouldseehimoffatthestation.

2）构成was（were）+goingto+V.（动词原形）

would（should）+V.（动词原形）

3）过去将来时的用法:

用法和一般将来时基本一致，只是过去将来时多用于主句是过去时的宾语从句中。

4）区别以下句子，注意时态的不同。
