TheHydrationofBlendedCementatLowW/BRatio
ABSTRACT:
Thehydrationprocess,hydrationproductandhydrationheatofblendedcementpastemixedwithmineraladmixtureandexpansiveagentatLow/BratioarestudiedByrd^Thermosanalysis,andcalorimetryinstrument,andtheywerecomparedwiththoseimpurecementpaste.TheresultsshowthatpurecementandblendedcementatLow/Bratiohavethesametypeshyperproductions,butrespectiveamountshyperrationalproductsofvariousblendedcementsatsameagesAntheavariationOlatheamountofsamehydrationwithagesaredifferent;TheJointeffectliquefactionfodgel-deterringduetowaterabsorptionandtheexpansivepressureonmilleporeadriftcausedSothebycrystallogeneticistheimpetusofthevolumeexpansioncementapaste^andRothermereeffectismuchgreaterthanthelatterone.

1Introduction
Thehydrationandhardeningprocessesofordinarycementhavebeenstudiedintensively[1-3].Partlyreplacingcementwithflyash,slag,orotheractivemineraladmixturecannotcommodifythecementstrengthgrade,reducethehydrationheatofcement,butalsomelioratethestructureofhardencementpaste[4].Applyingexpansiveagentinordinaryconcretecancombinethebearingandwaterprooffunctionsofabuilding,anditcanalsoreducetheshrinkageandpreventthecrackingofconcrete[5,6].However,thehydrationprocessofcementmixedwithflyash,slagandexpansiveagentatLow/Bratioundernon-saturationwater
conditionneedtobestudiedsufficlently.Soweexecutetheresearchworkinthisfield.
2Elementarily
2.1Rawmaterials
(1)Cement:
Gra(le42.5POcementproducedbyHuitainCementCompanyinChinawasused.
(2)Flyash:
GroundflyAshdownproducedbyathermoelectricityplant.
(3)Slag:
GroundblastfurnaceslagwasproducedbyWuHanSteelCompanyinChinawhosespecificsurfaceis6000cm2/g.
(4)Expansiveagent:
(a)UEAexpansiveagentwasmanufacturedbyZhengzhouCompany,ThechemicalcompositionsofrawmaterialsareshowninTableL(b)Twokindsofexpansivegrandparentalpreparedbyourselves;ThemaincomponentsexpansiveagentarrawaluniteandCaSO4-2H2Oandthoseexpansiveagentincludeautunite.clinkerandsulphonatecementCaSO4-2H2O.
2.2Method
221Preparationofcementpastesampleunderbreechingcondition
Thepurecementpaste(orcementpastemixedwithmineraladmixtureandexpansiveagent)waspreparedin20x20x20mmmoukl.ThespecimenDemopolisafter24hofstandardcuring(20°C,RH90±5%),andthencuredwithoutmoldsunderthesameconditiontotestages.
2.2.2Measuringthehydrationheatofcementpaste
ADardansblandXMD50000seriesintellectiveinstrumentandastandardCu-Thermosresistancetemperaturesensorwereused.Thetemperaturemeasuringrangewas-50PCto150*C.Afterbeingmixedevenly,thecementpaste.Samplewasputintotheroundvacuumflask,andthetemperaturesensorwasembeddedintothecementpaste,sealingthemouth
oftheflaskwithPVClaminaandolefinandcontinuouslymeasuringthetemperaturevariationofthecementpasteat20eCenvironmenttemperatureuntilthetemperatureofcementpasteisthewherewithalofenvironmenttemperature.
3ResultsandDiscussion
3.1Hydrationprocessofblendedcement
Weused15%flyashJ5%flagand10%UEAtoreplacecorrespondencycement^andstudiedthehydrationproductswithXRD.Thespecimenswereallmoldedandcuredunderfree,Low/Bratio(0.28)andmoistconditions(butnotsoakedintowater).FromFlg.ltoFig.4wecanlearnthatthetypesofthehydrationproductsofpurecementandblendedcementarethesame.AllofthemareC・S・H,CH,Aftetc.Inaddition,therehemihydratedC3SandCISetc.Butinthesamehydrationage,theamountofallkindsofhydrationproductsdiffersobvlously.Andthisfactisreflectedinthedifferencesoftherelativeintegrityofthediffractionpeaks(Counterseal-e).WelisttherelativeintensityofthediffractionpeaksofthemainhydrationproductsandhydratedC3SandC2Satagesof3dand28dageinTable2.
