目的
与
教学要求
本课程以“学生自主学习为中心”,在培养学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和跨文化交际意识等诸方面的整体发展基础上,同时培养交际能力,通过配套教材《视听说教程》、《大学英语语法与练习》、《阅读教程》和《快速阅读》的搭配使用以及网络互动学习,全面培养学生的语言知识和交际能力,拓宽学生的相关语言知识,进一步提高学生的英语思维能力和听、说、读、写、译等方面的语言综合应用能力。
鉴于课时有限,课堂讲授主要以主干教材《21世纪大学英语读写教程》和视听说教材《新世纪大学英语视听说教程》为主,其中,主干教材的任务是重点培养和发展英语读写能力,而视听说教材主要以交际功能为主线,着重培养学生的日常英语口语交际能力。
对于《大学英语语法与练习》、《阅读教程》、《快速阅读》则进行作业布置,每周检查,并将检查结果作为平时成绩评分参考。

本课程的重点是培养和发展学生的英语读写能力,并在此基础上提高他们的听说能力。
本课程的难点主要是阅读理解、听力理解及运用套语进行口语交际训练的练习。
