一般作不及物动词,跟宾语时后面要加to.

B.reply还可以作名词,意为“回答,答复”。

▲reply与answer区别
answer用法比较广泛,可指口说或笔写的答复,它是及物动词,可以带宾语。
Reply指较正式的,经过考虑后的答复,它是不及物动词,不可以直接跟宾语。
只有加上介词“to“后,才可以跟宾语。
如:
