Specimen试片
Length125mm（5in）xWidth13mm（0.5in）xThickness[typically1.5mm（1/16in）or3.0mm（1/8in）or6.0mm（1/4in）].

Procedure程序
1.
Threespecimensofeachthicknessaretestedafterconditioningfor48hoursat23degreesCand50%RH.
每一种厚度准备了三个试片，测试前先在23℃和50%相对湿度下放置48小时。
2.
Eachspecimenismountedwithitslongaxishorizontalanditsshortaxisata45degreeangle.
每一试片以长轴呈水平、短轴呈45°
方式固定。
3.
Eachspecimenismarkedwithtwolines,25mmand100mmfromoneendofthespecimen.
每一试片在25mm及100mm处画线做记号。
4.
Eachspecimenissupportedatoneendsuchthatitsloweredgeis10mmaboveapieceofwiregauze.
每一试片之一端固定，低缘下方10mm处水平放置一片金属细网。
5.
A20mmhighblueBunsenburnerflameisappliedtothefreeendofthespecimenfor30secondandthenremoved.Ifthespecimencontinuestoburnaftertheremovalofthetestflame,thetimefortheflamefronttotravelbetweenthetwogaugemarksismeasuredandtheburningratecalculatedinmillimetersperminute.
一个20mm高蓝色本生灯火焰燃烧试片未固定之一端30秒钟然后移开。
在火焰移开后假如试片继续燃烧，则测出火焰由前缘燃烧至2个记号之间所用的时间。
燃烧速率以mm/min计算。

Eachspecimenissupportedsuchthatitslowerendis10mmaboveBunsenburnertube.
试片上端被支撑以致下端高于本生灯10mm。
Ablue20mmhighflameisappliedtothecenteroftheloweredgeofthespecimenfor10secondsandremoved.Ifburningceaseswithin30seconds,theflameisreappliedforanadditional10seconds.Ifthespecimendrips,particlesareallowedtofallontoalayerofdryabsorbentsurgicalcottonplaced300mmbelowthespecimen.
蓝色20mm高火焰燃烧试片下端边缘中心10秒钟，然后移开。
假如试片在30秒之内停止燃烧，则本生灯火焰再次燃烧试片下端边缘中心10秒钟。

没有任何试片被火焰点燃并燃烧到试片被夹住固定的上端。

Thespecimensmaynotdripflamingparticlesthatignitethedryabsorbentsurgicalcottonlocated300mmbelowthetestspecimen.
没有任何试片滴落的火焰分子会点燃300mm下之乾燥的吸收性外科用棉花。
11.
Thespecimensmaynothaveglowingcombustionthatpersistsformorethan30secondsafterthesecondremovalofthetestflame.
没有任何试片在第二次测试火焰移开后燃烧持续超过30秒钟。

ProcedureforBars程序试片
每一厚度取5个试片为一组在23℃，50%RH下放置48小时后再测试。
Forbarspecimens,thespecimensaremountedwiththelongaxisvertical.
测试棒试片以长轴垂直地面方式固定。
A125mmoverallhighBunsenburnerflamewitha40mmblueinnerconeisappliedtothelowercornerofeachspecimenatanangleof20degreesfromverticalsuchthatthetipoftheblueinnerconetouchesthespecimen.Theflameisappliedfor5secondsandremovedfor5seconds.Theoperationistoberepeateduntileachspecimenhasbeensubjectedto5applicationsofthetestflame.
一个高度40mm中心是蓝色的火焰总长125mm高的本生灯，放置方式与垂直方向呈20°
角，并使蓝色火焰的顶端接触前试片的底端。
燃烧试片底端5秒钟后再移开火焰5秒钟。
如此操作重复5次。
ProcedureforPlaques试板的测试程序
Sameasforbarsexceptthattheplaquesaretobemountedonthehorizontalplanewiththeflameappliedtothecenterofthebottomsurfaceoftheplaque.
除了试板以水平方式放置以外，其测试程序都与测试片之程序相同。
火焰燃烧试板之底面。
Requirementsfor5VA（5VA的要求求条件）
Thespecimensmaynotburnwithflamingorglowingcombustionformorethan60secondsafterthefifthapplicationofthetestflame.
在第5次的火焰燃烧5秒钟之后，没有任何一片试片被点燃或持续燃烧超过60秒。
没有任何试片滴落之火焰分子会点燃放置于下面300mm（12"
）之乾燥吸收性外科用棉花层。
Plaquespecimensmaynotexhibitburnthrough.
没有任何一片试板被火焰穿透。
