●Thisdoesnotmeanthatallsentencesmustbebriefor“barebones”.Whenyouwanttoemphasizecertainwordsorideas,thenconcrete,specificdetailstomakethemeaningclearandpreciseandrepetitionmaybenecessary.Butemptyphrase,padding,andunnecessaryrepetitionaddnothingtothemeaningofasentenceandarebarriersbetweenyouandreaders.Besuretowatchforthefollowingconstructionsinyourwriting:
