SomeoneonceaskedanotherAmericanwriter,ErnestHemingway,howtobecomeawriter.Thebestthing,hesaid,wastohaveanunhappychildhood.Ifthisistrue,RobertFrost’schildhoodwasunhappyenoughtomakehimaverygoodwriter.RobertFrost’sfatherwasareporterwhowantedtobeapolitician.Buthedidn’tmakeit.Heoftendranktoomuchwineandbecameangry.Robertwasthevictim(受害者)ofhisanger.
