Abstract
InJuly,2011,inthe“TwelfthFive-Year(2011-2015)”planonthedevelopmentofpostalindustryissuedbyStatePostBureauofthePeople’sRepublicofChina,thefollowing“twelfthfive-year”developmentindicatorswereputforwardfortheexpressdeliveryindustry:
thenetworkcoverageofkeyexpressdeliveryenterprisescameupto98%inmunicipalitiesandprovincialcapitals,andover90%inprovinciallyadministeredmunicipalities;andthekeyexpressdeliveryenterprisesrealizedthe72-hourinter-provincialcapitalandinter-keycityexpressdeliveryrateofmorethan90%,expressdelayrateoflowerthan0.8%,damagerateoflowerthan0.01%,andlossrateoflowerthan0.005%.
TheexpressdeliverybusinessofChinahaswitnessedrapidgrowthin2011.UptotheendofSeptemberof2011,Chineseexpressdeliverycompanies(withannualsalesofoverRMB5million)hadmade2.52billiondeliveries,up53.3%year-on-year,andharvestedRMB53.14billion,a28.9%YoYrise,ofwhichChineseinner-cityexpressbusinessrevenuewasRMB4.67billion,withtheyear-on-yearincreaseof58.1%;thecrossregionalexpressbusinessrevenuerose37%year-on-yeartoRMB30.73billion;andtheinternationalandHongKong,MacaoandTaiwanbusinessrevenuewasRMB13.57billion,aslightriseof4.9%fromthesameperiodoflastyear.
FromJanuarytoSeptemberof2011,1.125billiondeliveriesweremadeinGuangdong,ZhejiangandShanghai,accountingfor44.64%ofthenationalbusinessvolume,andachievedRMB25.697billionwitha48.36%shareofthetotalbusinessrevenueinChina.

ZJSExpress:
itsoperatingperformancehassawacomparativelyslowrisesince2004,anditmadenegativegrowthaffectedbyeconomiccrisisduring2008-2009.However,theoperatingrevenueofthecompanyhitaroundRMB2billionin2010,soaring66.7%fromayearearlierandsettinganewhighrecord.
