序数词：
表示事物顺序的词，其前常加定冠词the。
数字

five→fifth第五；
eight→eighth第八；
nine→ninth第九twelve→twelfth第十二
一般：

20,30，40,50,60,70,80,90
-ty变为-tie再加th
twenty→twentieth第二十thirty→thirtieth第三十
forty→fortieth第四十fifty→fiftieth第五十
sixty→sixtieth第六十seventy→seventieth第七十
eighty→eightieth第八十ninety→ninetieth第九十
其余两位数
将相应基数词的个位改为基数词
twenty-one→twenty-first第二十一；
thirty-nine→thirty-ninth第三十九；
forty-six→forty-sixth第四十六
【记忆口诀】
基变序，有规律，多数词尾加-th。
一、二、三特殊记，词尾字母t,d,d。
八去t,九去e，字母f把ve替，然后再加
-th。
遇到几十几，只变个位就可以。
序数词表顺序，一般须加定冠词。
序数词的用法：
1.序数词要加定冠词the。
但当序数词前有物主代词（his,her…）、指示代词（this,that…）等修饰时，则不必再用the。
如：
onthethirdfloor在三楼
onhistwelfthbirthday在他十二岁生日这天
2.序数词常用缩写形式，即“阿拉伯数字+个位序数词的后两个字母”。
one→1st;
second→2nd;
third→3rd;
twelfth→12th;
twenty-sixth→26th
3.序数词可表示日期“几月几日”中的“几日”。
如:
August17th8月17日October1st10月1日
4.表示分数时，分子常用基数词，分母用序数词。
分子大于一时，分母加s。
如：
a/onehalf二分之一
threefourths/threequarters3/4
