一种中草药）,wastestedforantiviralactivityagainstvirusB.BothinvitroandinvivoassaysalongwithserumpharmacologicalexperimentsshowedAtohavepotentantiviralactivity.ThepharmacokineticprofileofAinSprague/DawleyratplasmaafteroraladministrationwasmeasuredbyHPLC.Bloodsamplestakenatselectedtimepointswereanalyzedtostudypotentialchangesinantiviralpharmacodynamicsasmeasuredbyinfectivityofviruses.FromthesimilarityoftheserumconcentrationprofilesandantiviralactivityprofilesitisconcludedthatAitself,ratherthanametabolite,exertedtheeffectagainsttheviruspriortobioinactivation.TheneedforeffectiveclinicalagentsagainstvirusBandtheseresultssuggestthepossibilityofbenefitfromfurtherexperimentswithA.
