infact,itisonlyasmallpartofwhatisneededinaglobalinitiative.
Allworldproblems,whetheritisenvironmentalpollution,war,energyinsufficiency,orfamine,arisefromtheabusivebehaviorofallindividuals.Therefore,thesolutiontoalltheseproblemsistheneedforacollectiveconsciousness.Whatismeantbythisisthateachindividualmustbeawareoftheimpactheorshehasontheworldandtheiruniqueparttoplayinthisworld.Afterall,ifoneishappywithhislife,hewillsurelynotendeavortoharmtheenvironmentoranyoneelse.Hisbehaviorwillbethatofaresponsibleindividual.
Whatisneeded,therefore,iseducation.Educationisthekeytoallproblemsanditstartsfrompregnancyallthewaytoadulthoodandbeyond.Furthermore,educationmeansthatchildrenallovertheworldshouldbeallowedtogotoschoolswithgoodteachersandwhereteachingmaterialsandmethodscanbeadaptedtoeachindividual.Educationmeansraisingchildrentoberesponsibleindividuals.
Thismaysoundlikeutopia,butitisnot:
ifacountryhadimportantproblemsinitseducationalsystem,thenitshouldrealizethatitiscontributingtotheworld’sproblems.Theseareperhapslongtermsolutions,buttheyaremorerealisticsolutionsthansettingupyetanotherinternationalorganization.
2.Asaresultofcountriesbecomingmoreandmoreindustrialized,pollutionhasbecomeaseriousproblem.Discusssomewaysthatcanmitigatethepollutionproblems.
Toensuretheprotectionofourscenicglobalvillagefromenvironmentaldegradationbymass-productionandmass-consumption(mostlyindevelopedandpartiallyindevelopingcountries)forourselvesandforfuturegenerations,itistheobligationofeveryindividualandpeopletotakeanactivepartinenvironmentalprotection.
WehaveoftenheardthatherearedangerouslevelsofairpollutioninmajorcitiesoftheworldallthewayformLosAngelestoSeoul.Yetlittlehasbeendonetosolvetosolvethisproblemworldwide.Researchersaretellingusthatitwillcertainlycostmoneytocleanupovercrowdedcities,butifwedonot,therewillbeagreaterpricetopay---thepriceofshorteningourownlifeexpectancy.
Asaresultofcontinuedpollution,wecananticipatehigheroutlaysinhealthcareinthefuture,nottomentiontheextracostsofcleaningupourwater,andprotectingourfoodsupply.Scientistsaretryingtoinformusthatinthelongrun,wewillsavemoneyandournaturalresourcesbydoingwhatittakestowipeouttrendsinpollutionnow.
