Dr.LeanneProops,fromtheUniversityofPortsmouth,said,“Animals--includinghumans--tendtouselargerbodygesturestoshowdominanceandsmallerbodygesturestoshowsubmissiveness.Horsesmaythereforehaveaninstinctualunderstandingoflargerandsmallergestures.”ProfessorAmy,intheSchoolofPsychologyoftheUniversityofSussex,ledastudyandfoundhorseswereabletotellangryfacialexpressionsofhumans.
