Afterresearchingthebestwaytouseplantleavesasfabric(纤维),andcomingupwithadesignfortheirdress,thefourstudentsstartedcollectingtheleaves.Somespeciesweregotatschool,butotherswerenot.TheyhadtotraveltoTianhuMountaintocollectthem.

Tomaesurethatthecollectedleavesdidn’tgobad,thestudentsremovedtheflesh(叶肉)byboilingtheminaindofspecialwaterforabouttwohours.Thismadetheflesheasiertoremove,leavingonlythe“bone”oftheleaf,athinfilmwithalltheveins(叶脉)left.Thiswasmuchharderthanitsounds.Throughmanyeperiments,andwiththeirteacher’shelp,theywereabletocomeupwithagoodwaytosolvetheproblem.
