foritwouldreleasealargequantityofindustrialwastes,whichunderminehealthofresidentsofmycommunity,andwouldalsocompetewiththeresidentsonsuchresourcesaswater,electricpowerandnaturalgas.Moredisadvantagescouldbelisted,andIcouldnotbutopposetheconstructionofthislargefactory.

[However,thelivingenvironmentofmycommunitywouldbedamaged.Thelargefactorycontributestothisinseveralways:

inducingenvironmentburdensbyworkersofit;

releasingalargequantityofindustrialwastes,whichunderminehealthofresidentsofmycommunity;

competingwiththeresidentsonsuchresourcesaswater,electricpowerandnaturalgas]paradiseloses.

Firstofall,thelargefactorymayinfluencethelivingenvironmentofmycommunity.Forexample,workersofthefactoryarenecessarilycomefromalloverthecountryandhavedifferentculturescontrarytolocalresidents'

customs.Workersfromnorthernmaybeaccustomedtodrunkinthepublicarea,butmyneighborsalwaysdanceinthesameplace.Sotheconflictofcompetitionbetweenthemfortheareaisunavoidable.Furthermore,newworkerswouldincreasethepopulationdensityofthecommunityandaddextrahouseholdgarbagestotheenvironment.Thegardonnearmycommunitythenwouldbecoveredbywastedpapers,plasticsandrinds,andfreshairwoulddisppearwithmalordorfillingin.Evidently,ourpeacefullifewoulddestroyedbynewcomers.

Anotherthreatfromthelargefactoryisitswastesandcostscausedbyproduction.Whatthefactoryproducesisstillunkown,butwhateveritis,industrialwasteswouldleadtomanyenvironmentproblem.Anewspaperhasreportedthatachemicalplantreleasedsomeuntackledharmfulwaterintogroundwaterofalittlevillageandcausedalltheresidentsgettingcancer.Evenifthelargefactorywouldproperlyresolveallitswastes,itsrequirmentofsuchresourcesaswater,electricpowerandnaturalgaswouldaddpressuretolocalsupply.Takeelectricpowerasanexample.Theneedsariseextremelyforelectricitytopowerairconditionsinmycommunityforthesakeofhightemperatureofsummerdayhere,andtheelectricityshortagehasappearedinlast2years.Theelectricitydemandingofthefactoryisnecessisarilycausesadecreasementofthesupplyofresidentialneeds.

Althoughtherearesomeadvantagestobuildalargefactoryinmycommunity,Iaminnatelysuspeciousofitsefficacyonimprovinglocallivingcondition.Amoreperfectblueprintistosettlethefactoryinsomemanufacturedistricts;

therehaveenvironmentlyfriendlysupportingfacilitieswhichwouldmeetthefactory'

srequirementofproductionandemployeessettlement.

Peopleattendcollegeoruniversityformanydifferentreasons(forexample,newexperiences,careerpreparation,increasedknowledge).Whydoyouthinkpeopleattendcollegeoruniversity?

Usespecificreasonsandexamplestosupportyouranswer.

Fromdifferentpeopletherefollowdifferentpurposes;

someattendcollegeoruniversityfornewexperiencesorcareerpreparation,whileothersforincreasedknowledge.IaminclinedtosharethesamepointofConfucius,theChinesephilosopherandeducator,whoarguedthatcollegesprovidelearnersestablishmentofethicalideasandcreativity,insight,andanalyticalskills.SoIthinkthatbyattendingcollegeoruniversitypeoplewanttobuild/establishanethicalandcomprehensivethinkingsystem.

Firstofall,peopleattendcollegeoruniversitytoenrichtheirethicalideasfromrelatedcourses.Apersonwithoutmoral,nomatterhowintelligentsheorheis,istheburdentoasociety.Themoststrikingexampleisthecorruptioningovernments,whichdamagessocialequality.Forexample,abusinessofmyfriendoncecompetesforagovernmentpurchasewithanothercompanywhosemanagerhassomeclandestinerelationshipswithofficersofthegovernment.Thatcompanygottheorderatlast.Althoughthecorruptofficerwassentencedafterthat,myfriendlostthecrucialorderforever.Whatifallofficerscouldimprovetheirmoralresponsibilityincollegeoruniversity?

Besidestheethicalideasthatoneshouldlearnincollege,analyticalskillsarenecessaryforstudentstoobtain.Realworldhaslargenumbersofquestions.Studentsincollege,solversofthosequestions,arenotnecessarilylearnallmethodstoeveryissue,andthatisnotpossible.Sowhatstudentscandotopreparethemforfuturemissions?

Itisanalyticalskillsthatdividealargerquestiontosomelesslargeones,anddividethoseindividuallesslargequestionstomorelessones,untilallofthequestionscouldbesolved.Solvingproblemsiswhatthestudentsnowadayswilldoaftergraduation;

thus,studentsshouldacquirethoseskillsfromstudiesincolleges.

Creativethinkingiscriticalforstudentstoachievesuccessinthefuture.Onewithoutcreativitycouldproducevalues,butcouldnotdiscoverororiginatevalues.MarkZuckerberg,thefounderofFaceB,isaleadingexampleofthosepracticingcreativethinking.HeseesInternetasapotentialimplementtofindfriendsandconstructsocialnetworks.Withthisnewtoolpeoplecontactmutuallymoreeasilyandconveniently,thusenhancetheirefficacy.Consequently,peoplewhoattendcollegeshouldcultivatetheircreativethinkinginthestudies.

Althoughtherearemanyreasonsforapersontoattendcollegeoruniversity,thethreecrucialonesarepresentedabove.Peoplealsoacquireindividualachievementsincollegeaccordingtotheirownneeds,suchasinterests,financialrequirementsorpoliticalaims.Whatevertheyneed,thethreecrucialreasonsmustbeachievedaboveall.

3.fastfoodpreparation

Nowadays,foodhasbecomeeasiertoprepare.Hasthischangeimprovedthewaypeoplelive?

Easilypreparedfoodpreciselychangesthewaypeoplelive,butchangesarenotnecessarilyleadtoimprovements.Admittedly,fastfoodpreparingsavesmuchtimeforpeopleandthosetimecouldbeusedinotherfavoritethingspeopleareinterestedin.Butonethingpeopleshouldkeepinmindisthatfoodpreparationisultimatelyapivotalingredientoflife;

thus,itpocessesacrucialpositionineverycultureandpresentsaprogressinhumancivilization.Therefore,improvementoflifedependsonwhatfoodweprepare,ratherthanhoweasyfoodisprepared.

Firstofall,preparingdelicious/delectablefoodandenjoyingitwouldcolorizepeople'

slife,whiletheeasilypreparedfoodweakensifnotdestroysit.Amanifestexamplefollowingthisisamarriedcouple.Whatifhusbandandwifealwaysshortenthetimetheycoorperatetogethertopreparefood?

Secondly,theeasilypreparedfoodgenerallycontainsinsufficientnutrition.Fastfoodsarealwaysdisposedbymoderntechnologies,eitherphysicalorchemical.Naturefoodconsistsofmanynecessarycomponentshumanbodyneeds,suchasvitamins,waterormineralingredients.Traditionalcuisinecostmoretimebutalsoprotectmorenutritionthannewtechnology,whilenewtechnologymustabbreviatenecessaryingredientsinfoodinordertoaccelarateitspreparation.Manyclinicalexperimentshavealsoprovedthatjunkfoodscandestroythebalanceofthenutritionsupplyinhumanbody.Therefore,easilypreparedfoodisnotexactlythesameaspeoplehavethoughttoimprovetheirwayoflife.

Finally,whatcallsfortheeasinessoffoodpreparationistheincreasingworkingpace,whichaggravatesmodernlifepressureratherthanimprovesthewaypeoplelife.Fastfoodispopularincities,notleastmetropolises.Althoughcitiesaboundwithconsummingproducts,veryfewpeoplecouldenjoytheaffluentmateriallife;
