I'mverygladtobeheretopresentmyclasstoday.I'mnumberXcandidateapplyingfortheEnglishteacherofthehighschool.AndmytopictodayisModule1,BritishandAmericanEnglish.Togetabetterunderstandingofmyinstructionaldesigning,I'mgoingtodivideitinto6sections,thatis,theanalysisofteachingmaterials,analysisofstudents,teachingmethods,learningmethods,teachingproceduresandblackboarddesign.NowIamgoingtogothroughthemonebyone.
Thefirstandforemostistheanalysisoftheteachingmaterials.Today'slessonistheReadingandSpeakingofModule1,NewStandardEnglish,Book5,publishedbyForeignLanguageTeachingandResearchPress.ItsmainthemeisaboutBritishandAmericanEnglish,whichisquiteimportantforEnglishlearning.Studentswillmeetallkindsofaccentsintherealxxmunicationactivities.So,itisnecessaryforthemtohaveabasicunderstandingofdifferencesbetweenBritishandAmericanEnglish.Atthesametime,studentscanalsolearnalittlebitmoreaboutWesternhistoryandculture.

Giventheteachingmaterialsandthestudents'characteristics,Isupposetheteachingkeypointsarethenewwordsandphrasesinthepassage;thedifferencesbetweenBritishandAmericanEnglishinpronunciation,vocabularyandgrammar.Andtheteachingdifficultiesaretoidentifyanaccentintherealsituations.
