形容词比较级和最高级的用法

单音节及部分双音节形容词比较级（-er）和最高级（-est）的规则变化。

1.一般在词尾直接加er/est:

tall—taller—tallest

2.以e结尾的单词去e加er/est:

wide—wider—widest

3.以辅音字母加y结尾的单词，把y改成i,再加er/est:

busy—busier—busiest

4.以重读闭音节结尾，且末尾只有一个辅音字母的单词，双写末尾的辅音字母，再加er/est:

big—bigger—biggest,（fat,thin,red,hot）

5.部分双音节和多音节的形容词,在词前加more,most:

morebeautiful----mostbeautiful

good/well–better–bestbad/ill—worse—worstmany/much-more—most

little—less—leastfar---farther/further—farthest/furthest

1.as+adj/adv.的原级+as与……一样,（not）/so…as（否）与……不一样

eg.Therulerisaslongasthatone.HesingsaswellasJack.

比较级、最高级要注意的几个问题：

1.比较级+thanHeistallerthanhe.

2.比较级+and+比较级,表示“越来越”

eg.warmerandwarmer,nicerandnicer,moreandmorebeautiful,3.the+比较级,the+比较级越…就越…

eg.Themoreyoureadthebook,themoreinterestingyoufind.

4.比较级的修饰语有:

much,even,alittle,+adj./adv.比较级

Heismuch/even/alittlestrongerthanTom.

5.当比较级后没有than,而为ofthetwo的结构,比较级前加the.

eg.ThetallerofthetwogirlsisMary.

6.Oneof+the+最高级+名词复数最…其中之一（谓语动词用单数）

YellowRiverisoneofthelongestriversinChina.

=YellowRiveris________than_________________riversinChina.

=YellowRiveris_________than_________________riverinChina.

Oneofthetallestboysis/comesfromBJ.

7.如果比较对象相同，可用that/those代替第二个比较对象。

TheweatherinHebeiiscolderthanthatinShanghai.

Thesebooksareolderthanthoseinthebad.

最高级用法:

1.形容词最高级用于in,of或among的结构中,形容词最高级前+the

EgIamthebestof（among）thethree.

Heisthethinnestboyinmyclass.

3.副词最高级不需+theeg.Jimgoestobedlatestinmyfamily.）
