要注意避免使用自己无把握的词句，要用自己最熟悉的书中学过的词句，不要弄巧成拙；
写句子时要注意灵活表达，遇到自己一时想不起来的词组或句型要另辟蹊径，寻找自己熟悉的同义或近义词组、句型来代替，这样不仅能有效地节约时间，还能提高得分率；
表达要避免过多重复，用词可以丰富些。
好的作文必定是显示水平的作文，对于同一种意思，要用多种表达方式；
务必使用两三句复合句，思想汇报专题不能老是用简单句，让人觉得你水平有限；
句子要有逻辑性，要连贯。
好的中考作文并不是简单的句子相加，你可以适当地用一些串联词。
三、检查。
写完之后不算完，要用做改错题的眼光去挑自己文章中的毛病，要从以下几方面认真检查一番：
1.看内容是否切题，有无遗漏要点；
2.看词语使用是否正确，有无语法或用词上的错误；
3.看时态、语态、主谓是否一致，句子成分是否缺失，名词的单复数，固定搭配，人称代词的格，形容词或副词的级使用是否正确；
4.看单词拼写、字母大小写是否有错，标点符号有无遗漏或用错等。
此外，考生在做书面表达题时，一定要注意书写端正、卷面整洁，给评卷人一个良好的印象。
今年中考作文采取电脑阅卷的方式，清晰的字迹，整洁的卷面可以使改卷的差错降到最低。
“熟读唐诗三百首，不会写诗也会吟”，英语文章也是如此。
平时多读多背好文章、好句子、谚语、俗语，写书面表达会起到画龙点睛的作用。
