Shewassoonjoinedby34peoplewithinaweek;
bytheendofthemonth,thecrowdhadincreasedto400,mostofwhomwerewomen.Again,peopleweredancinguntiltheycouldnolongercontinue,withsomefinallydyingfromheartattacksorexhaustion.Onereportshowsthattheplaguewaskillingaround15peopleperday.
