In1874,thepalacewasthebirthplaceoftheduke’smostfamousdescendant,WinstonChurchill,whowastobecometheUK’sPrimeMinister(somewouldsayBritain’s

greatest20th-centurypolitician)andNobelPrizewinnerforliterature.ItisalsoinBlenheimthatWinstongotmarriedtoClementineHozierin1908.

Alastingexhibitionisdevotedtotheman’slife,workandwritings.WinstonandhiswifeareburiedinBladonChurchwithinthepalace.
