Substationisanimportantpartofthepowersystem,whichdirectlyaffectthewholepowersystemsecurityandeconomicoperation,powerplantsandusersarelinkedtotheintermediatelink,playsatransformationanddistributionofelectricenergyeffect.ThispaperreviewedthepowersystemprotectiontechnologyinChinaaftertheprocessofdevelopment,thispaperOutlinesthemicrocomputerrelayprotectiontechnologyachievements,thispaperputsforwardthefuturerelayprotectiontechnologydevelopmenttrendis:
