LaterthatnightwhilewatchingTV,theoldwomansaidtotheoldman,“Honey,willyoupleasegotothekitchenandgetmeadishoficecream?

Beforethemanleft,sheadded,“Whydon’tyouwritethatdownsoyouwon’tforget?

“Nonsense,”saidthehusband,“Icanrememberadishoficecream!

“Well,”saidthewife,“I’dlikesomestrawberriesonit.You’dbetterwritethatdownbecauseIknowyourmemoryisfailing.”

“Don’tbesilly,”repliedthehusband.“There’reonlytwothings:

adishoficecreamandsomestrawberries.Icansurelyrememberthat!

Withthat,herushedintothekitchen.Afterabouttwentyminuteshereturnedfromthekitchenandhandedheraplateofbaconandeggs.
