butimustaddthatduringthistime,indianastronomyandmathematicswerequitepopularinchina.indianastronomerswereappointedontheofficialboardssetuptopreparecalendars.

weareverykeentodevelopthesectorswherechinaisstrong.weneedyourinvolvement.thescopeandpotential,thebreadthandlengthofinfrastructureandrelateddevelopmentsisveryhugeinindia.justtogiveyousomeexamples:

wehaveplannedtobuild50millionhousesby2022.inaddition,wearegoingtodevelopsmartcitiesandmegaindustrialcorridors;

forthispurpose,wehaverefinedourfdipolicyinconstruction.wearealsocomingupwitharegulatoryframeworkforthissector;

wehavetargeted175gigawattsofrenewableenergyinnextfewyears.inadditiontogeneration,theissuesoftransmissionanddistributionofelectricityareequallyimportantforus;

wearemodernizingourrailwaysystemsincludingsignals,enginesandrailwaystations.weareplanningmetrorailinfiftycitiesandhighspeedtrainsinvariouscorridors;
