一般在百位数和个十位数间加and,其它不用加。

在英语里，数字（阿拉伯数字）通常从个位数起往左，每三个数用一个逗号隔开（如上）。

而汉语习惯每四个数用逗号隔开（注意区别）每个逗号之间的三个数字，都按照100999数字的表达（*构成法见上）。

表中“英、美”分别表示英国英语和美国英语表达法。

从千以上的基数词一般都是按：

百位数（即XXXXXX）+thousandmillionbilliontrillion如：

第一个逗号用thousand第二个逗号用million第三个逗号用thousandmillion（英）或billion（美）第四个逗号用billion（英）或trillion（美）基数词在句中的用法：

1.作定语Therearenineteenstudentsintheclassroom.教室里有十九个学生。

Ihavegottwooranges.我有两只桔子。

Myuncleboughttwohandtractorsrecently.我大伯最近买了两辆手扶拖拉机。

作定语时，用数词+名词（单复数），如上。

数词hundred（百）、thousand（千）和million（百万）作定语时，一律用单数（因为作定语时，作用相当于形容词）如：

Therearemorethan5hundredbooksinmystudy.在我书房里有五百多本图书。

Ourcountryhasapopulationof1,300millionpeople.我们国家拥有13亿人口。

Therearethreethousandstudentsinthisuniversity.在这所大学里有三千名学生。

但是，当它们作名词时（即与of构成的短语），要用复数形式。

如：

Ricehasbeencultivatedintheeastforthousandsofyears.水稻在东方已经种植了几千年。

Maizeisthemostimportantfoodcropformillionsofpeopleintheworld.玉米是全世界千百万人最主要的粮食。

2.作主语，宾语和表语当数词作定语时（即：

数词+名词），如果省略掉名词，此时该数词在句中可以做主语，宾语和表语。

作主语：

Twoplusfourissix.二加四等于六。

Sevenminusfiveequalstwo.七减五等于二。

Threeofthemwenttocollegelastyear.他们当中有三人去年上大学了。

Ihavethreefriends,twoofthemareteachersandtheotheroneisadoctor.我有三个朋友，其中两个是老师，另一个是医生。

（上句中：

three作定语，修饰friends；

two作主语；

one是已经代词化的数词，作主语）*区别：

threeofthem他们当中的三个（表示不止三个，只是一部分而已）thethreeofthem他们三人（表示他们就三人，指全部）作宾语：

Givemetwo（apples）.给我两个。

（有名词apple,two就是定语；

没有apple，two就是宾语，要注意区别）作表语：

Sheisjustfourteen.她刚好14岁。

（fourteen作表语）Sheisjustfourteenyearsold.她刚好14岁。

（fourteen后面有名词years，所以做定语）Hewasalreadyforty-fivewhenhebegantostudyEnglish.他开始学英语时已经45岁了。
