Manyblamethefarmerswhoproducethevegetables,fruit,meat,eggs,andcheesethatstoresofferforsale.AccordingtotheU.S.DepartmentofAgriculture,thefarmer’sshareofthe$1,311spentbythefamilyin1972was$521.Thiswas31percentmorethanthefarmerhadreceivedin1959.
