我不知道什么叫透过人的“心灵之窗”——眼睛去熟悉一个朋友的内心,我只能通过指尖的触摸“看到”一个人的脸部轮廓,我能察觉出一个人的欢笑、悲哀和许多别的明显的感情。

我通过触摸朋友们的脸庞了解他们,但我不能通过触摸真正想象出他们的个性。

当然,我可以通过别的途径——通过他们向我表露的思想,通过他们的行动向我揭示的一切去了解他们的个性。

然而我无法对他们有更深刻的了解,不过我相信如果能亲眼看到他们,观察到他们对所听到的言论和所遇到的事情的反应,注意到他们的眼睛和面部表情所表露出来的瞬息反应,我是可以获得这种了解的。

我对亲近的朋友十分了解,因为长年累月的接触使我在各方面都对他们很熟悉。
