Foundedin2001,ReCycleBikesrepairsbicyclesdonatedbythepublic,whicharesoldfor￡20afterrefurbished.Abandonedbikessuppliedbythegovernmentmakesureasteadyflowofbikes,butarecentlyformedpartnershipwithSheffieldUniversityshouldimprovethefurtherdevelopment.

“Thestudentpopulationpresentsalargeandreadymarket，”saysPearce.“Soweapproachedtheuniversitylastyearandofferedtohostbikesalesonthecampus（校园）.Theythoughtitwasagreatidea,andagreedtoprovideuswithmoresupport.Thismeanswecantrainyoungpeopletorepairextra500bikesoverthreeyears.”

HavingsetupReCycleBikesonhisown,Pearcenowhasthestaffandresourcestotracktheprofessiondevelopmentofthosewhohavepassedthroughhisworkshop.“Butweareplanningexitinterviewswiththeyoungpeopletomakesurewhattheyplantodo,andthesewillallowustocheckontheirprogress，”saysPearce.
