sometimesthereisamixtureofChristianandpagan(异教徒)ideas.Itisrepresented

byCaedmon(凯德蒙)andCynewulf(基涅武甫).

Nationalepic:

epicwritteninvernacular(本国的)languages,namely,thelanguages

ofvariousnationalstatesthatcameintobeingintheMiddleAges.

ItwasthestartingpointofagradualtransitionofEuropeanliteraturefromLatin

culturetoaculturethatwasthecombinationofavarietyofnationalcharacteristics.
