1)Fromthetitleofthereadingmaterial,wecanknowthe main topic is about the friendship, while thefriendshipisveryspecial,notonlybecauseitoccurredbetweenapersonandadairy,butalsoithappenedduringtheWWII.So I will add moreinformationaboutthebackgroundtomakeiteasierformystudentstounderstandAnne.

2)Thereadingmaterialisquietlongerthantheylearnduringthejuniorschool,andIdivideitintotwoparts.ThefirstisaboutthenarrationofthefriendshipbetweenAnneandkitty(thenameofdiarywhichisgivenbyAnne),whilethesecondpartisaletterfromAnnetokitty.Thoughtherearealsomanynewvocabularyandexpressions,thetopicisveryfamiliartomystudents.Soitwouldnotsodifficultyfortheircomprehension.

3)Sincemystudentshavejustcomefromdifferentjuniorschool,soitisveryimportantforthemtomakefriendsinthenewschool,sothisfriendshipreadingmaterialisverymeaningful,andmystudentswillalsohavegreatermotivationandinteresttolearnit.

4)Asformystudents,theyhavealreadyaccumulateacertainamountsofwordsandsentencestructure,soitispossibleforthemtocommunicateandexpresstheirideas.Maybetheywillshytodoso,andIwillofferafreeenvironmentforthem.

sincethis periodismainlythereadingcourse,sothemainskilltodevelopisreadingability.Throughfastreading,studentscanfindtheanswerquicklyandcorrectly;

throughcarefulreading,theywillfindthekeywordandamylaseit.Thispointisveryimportantbutmaybedifficultforthem.Atthesametime,studentswillalsoinvolvedintodiscussion,sotheirspeakingabilitywouldalsodeveloped.

mystudentswillmasterthemeaninganduseofimportantnewwordsandexpressions,suchas:

showshereagertothenature,mystudentswillconcernthemselvestothenaturetoenjoythebeautyofnature.

Culturalobjectives:

studentswillknowmoreaboutthehistoryofWWII,whilelearningthecauseofthewar,mystudentswillrealizethatweshouldrespectothers`culture,weshouldlivetogetherharmoniously.

Learningstrategyobjectives:

studentswillsearchtheInternet to learn about Anne`s daily, during thecommunication,theywillhaveafurtherunderstandofthefriendandfriendship.

Teachingmethodsandstudyingways:

Asfortheanalysisofthereadingmaterial,Iwillmainlyapplythetop-downapproach.Afterwhollycomprehension,studentswillgotodetailsforbetterunderstanding.Ofcourse,mystudentswillalsocommunicatewitheachtoexpresstheirideas.Soitisalsoagoodwayforthemtounderstandwitheachother,andtrytomakefriendsduringthecommunication,whichistousewhattheylearnedinthetextbookintoreality.
