一.介词的寄义
介词是一种虚词,用来暗示名词或相当于名词的其它词语与句中其它词的关系,不克不及单独使用.介词可以与名词或相当于名词的其它词组成介词短语.
二.暗示时间的介词
at(暗示钟点):
at6:
30固定搭配 :
atnoon ;atnight ;atpresent/atthemoment
in(暗示年月/月份/季候):
inJuly;in2006;inSeptember,1998;inspring
固定搭配:
inthemorning/intheafternoon/intheevening
on(暗示具体日期:
某月某日/星期几):
onMonday ;onSundaymorning ;onDecember17
before在---之前after在--之后
by在--之前(时间);到--为止until/till :
直到--(时间)
since自从--以来for(接一段时间)
during在--期间from从--时起
in+一段时间:
--以后(用于未来时)within--之内
after+一段时间:
--以后(用于曩昔时)beyond--之外
三.暗示场合,偏向的介词
at在某处(小地方)(atthecinema;atschool;athome;attherailwaystation)
in在某处(大地方)(inChina;inBeijing);在--里面(intheclassroom;inthewater)
on在--上面(紧贴着其概况):

near在---邻近beside:
在--旁边by在--旁边
between在--和--之间among在--(3者或更多的人或物)当中

五.重要介词辨析
(1)on,over与above
On在……上面与物体概况有接触面
Over在……上方垂直正上方,暗示“跨越,笼罩”
Above在……上方“在……(偏)上方”,暗示两者不接触
例如:
Thereisabagonthedesk.
Thelampisoverthetable.
Theheavenisaboveus.(苍天在上.)
(2)in,on与to
in用于主语被包含于某一规模之内.
on用于暗示两地互相交界.
to用于主语在某一规模之外.
例如:
BeijingliesinthenorthofChina.
北京位于中国的北部.
RusiaisonthenorthofChina.
俄罗斯在中国的北面.
JapanistotheeastofChina.
日本在中国的东面.
(3)across,over,through与past
across“穿过”强调从物体概况的这一边到另一边
over“越过”强调从人或事物的上方经由,越过
through“穿过,通过”强调从物体内部穿过;从长形物的一头到另一头.
past“经由”只从物体旁边经由
例如:
Ifyouseethegreenlight,youcanwalkacrossthestreet.
Thetrainrunthroughthetunnel(隧道).
Icanjumpoverthefence(围墙).
Wewalkedpastthehospital.
(4)except,exceptfor,besides与but
except“除……以外”暗示同类事物之间的关系
exceptfor“除……以外”,“如果不是”,“若非”暗示对局部的否认,不暗示同类事物之间的关系
besides“除……以外”,“还有……”所指事物包含在叙述规模之内
but“除……以外”多与nobody,none,noone,nothing,anything,everyone,all,who连用
例如:
WeallwentswimmingexceptAnn.
BesidesAnn,weallwentswimming.
Yourcompositionisgoodexceptforsomespellingmistakes.
NoonebutPeterwentthere.
(5)infrontof与inthefrontof“在……前面”
infrontof指一个物体在另一个物体的前方
inthefrontof指一个物体包含在另一个物体内部的前方

Thereisadeskinthefrontoftheclassroom.
(6)since与for
since“自从……”后跟时间点或动作初始的句子,用于现在完成时态.
for“达,计……”后跟时间段,用于现在完成时态.
例如:

Theyhavelivedherefortenyears.
