Whilereadingintensively,Imakethestudentslistentothetapeintheprocessofreadingsoastoachievetheunityoflisteningandreading.Intensivereadingisdividedintothreeparts:

trueorfalse,fillintheformsandretellthepassage.Trueorfalseexaminesstudents’understandingofthearticle.Fillintheformsisasupplementtotherightandwrong.Retellthepassagerequeststhestudentstocombinewithwhattheywroteintheform,thuscanimprovestudents’oralEnglish.Meanwhile,IplaythepartofthemovieofTangShanEarthquakedirectedbyFengXiaogangtomakethestudentsfeelthehavocoftheearthquakesanddeepentheunderstandingofthecontenttoarousestudents’interestinthetext.
