OnOctober13,2014,Peytonwentintohisroomafterwegothome.Ithoughthejustneededsometimealone.Afterabout20minutes,IwenttocheckonhimandthatwaswhenIfoundhim.

RoyalfamiliesintheUnitedArabEmirateshavebeendrivingthisrenewedinterest.Oneunusualareaofsportinvolvingbirdsofpreyhasbeenfalconracing.Whenhuntingforprey,thesebirdscanreachspeedsofupto300kilometresinjust20seconds.

It’sanexpensivesport.Eachexpensivefalconcomeswithanexpensivetrainer.thebirdsareraisedinspecialareasandtrainedcontinuouslyforseveralweeksbeforearace.Duringtraining,acloserelationshipdevelopsbetweeneachbirdanditstrainer.Thetrainerhasaspecialthickleathergloveuponwhichthebirdrests.Often,thebirdsarenotfedbeforearacesotheyarehungrierandkeentocatchtheirprey.Beinghungryalsomakesthebirdsalittleeasiertocontrol.
