ThiswasespeciallytrueduringtheMingandQingdynastieswhenelabo
rateceremonieswereheld。
TheTempleofHeavenwasbuiltin1420duringthereignofEmperorYongl
eoftheMingDynasty。
Situatedinthesouthernpartofthecity,thisgrandsetofstructurescoversanareaof273hectares。
