HarrietTubman

Thiswomantoldherhowtoreachanotherhomewhereshecouldhide.HarrietTubmanwentfromplacetoplacethisway.Eachplacewasalittleclosertothenorthernstateswhereslaverywasillegal.ThisishowtheUndergroundRailroadoperated.Finally,shecrossedtheborderintothenorthernstateofPennsylvania.
