idon’tthinkicanexpresshowilovemystudentsinafewwords.ijustknow,theyarethefutureofchina;theyareinfinityinmyhand.whatcouldidowiththem?

i’mverygladandexcitedthatihaveachancelikethistosharemyownexperienceofteachingwithyou.

thetopicofmytoday’slectureisbettertoteachamanfishingthantogivehimafish----cultivatinggoodstudyinghabitsofstudentsinenglishteaching.

schooleducationisveryimportantanduseful.thestudentsnotonlylearnknowledgebutalsogetaneducation.yet,noonecanlearneverythingatschool.thescientists,suchasedison,newton,galileoandeinstein,didnotlearneverythingatschool.theylearnedalotofknowledgeoutsideschoolorpracticebythemselves.ateacher,evenheknowsalot,can’tteachhisstudentseverything.ourjobistoshowourstudentshowtolearn,howtoreadandhowtothink.agoodteacherwithrichexperienceinteachingcanteachhisstudentsthemethods(ways)ofstudy.throughthesemethodsthestudentsareabletolearnandgetalotofthingsbythemselves.

thehabitofpreviewingactivelybeforeclass;thehabitoflisteningintensivelyinclass;thehabitofreviewingcarefullyafterclass;thehabitofcompletinghomeworkindependently;thehabitofthinkingdeeplyandactively;thehabitofmakingnotesduringreadingoutofclass;andgoodhabitsofreadingaloud,memorizing,reciting,etc.thosehabitsshouldcontributetoassimilatingenglishknowledgetheyhavelearnedintotheirownones,andpromotingtheirabilitiesoflistening,speaking,reading,andwritingallround.so,asenglishteachers,wemustbegoodatcultivatinggoodstudyinginterestofstudents,enablethemtodevelopgoodstudyinghabitsandmakeenglishstudyingcontinuefortheirlife.
