Abstract

Thispaperisthecombinationofhighwaypavementmaintenancebasedonthework,byanalyzingtheformationmechanismofasphaltconcretepavement,asphaltpavementduringtheconstructionperiodonhowtheconstructionqualitycontrolissuestopresenttheirviewsandexperiences,topreventthedevelopmentofPavementDistressonthecurrentasphaltconcretepavementbythephenomenonofhighincidenceofdiseasehasacertainreference.

1Aroadsurfacediseaseandmajorhazards1.1surfacepits

Highwaypavementsurfacepitsistheearliestofthedisease,especiallyintherainyseason.Likelytocauseroadbumps,thehighspeedofthecarandthelargetonnageofthevehicles,thelargerthedepthofdeeptrenchesandevenendangertrafficsafety.Inadditiontherearedestructivepitroaddevelopment,theso-called"donotfillahole,bigholetosuffer."

1.2PavementRuttingandownpackage

Pavementruttingseasonusuallyoccursinhightemperature,especiallyafterthehotseasonwillstillbewithinonemonthofdevelopment.Ownedbypackagesintwosituations:

First,andpavementruttingthesametimeandplace;Second,intheindividualsectionsofasmallarea(area≤6m2)occurred.Pavementrutandownpackageismainlycausedbycarbumps;rainwillcausewaterinthestreet,reducingpavementskidresistance,therebyendangeringtrafficsafety.

1.3PavementCracks

Pavementcracksoccurredmainlyinwinter,withtransversecracking.Performanceintherainseason,themostobvious,orevenjackpulpphenomenon.Crackkeyhazardsareasfollows:

First,theformationofsurfacepitsiseasy;Second,surfacewaterwouldseepintothesurfacelayeroftheinternalandroadbase,pavementdamage.

1.4pavementcracksandloose

Pavementcracksandloosemostevidentinthewinter.Intherainyseason,especiallyincoldweather,rainseason,theroadtendstoformcracksandloosealargearea(area≥1m2)oftrenchesandpumpslurry,togetherwithinfiltrationofsurfacewaterwithinthesurfacelayerandtheroadbase,threateningtheentirepavementstructure.

1.5PavementBleeding

Bleedingcausedbyroadpavementskidresistanceismainlydown,foramotorvehicletravelingonthehighway,downtheroadskidresistanceleddirectlytothebrakeandsteeringperformancedegradation,endangeringtrafficsafety.

2FormationMechanismofPavementDistress2.1surfacepits

Theformationofsurfacepitsisbecauseofwaterdamage.Inalotoffasttrafficload,tirepositionandthehydrodynamicpressuregeneratedbyvacuumsuctionfromthesurfacewillresultingravelasphaltconcreteflakingout,orcauseweatheredstone,gravelandsocrushingstrengthdifference.Throughthecycles,theformationofpits.Alotofimpuritiesintheaggregate,gravelaggregatepro-poorqualityandpoorsectionsofthisoilismostobvious.Also,ifroadloose,cracked,oldandnewpavementcracksandjoints,poorroadhandling,pithasalsogreatlyincreasedthelikelihood.

2.2PavementRuttingandownpackage

Pavementruttingandtheformationofcomplicatedownershippackage,mainlythefollowingaspects:

First,thedestructiveeffectsofoverloadedvehicles;second,hightemperaturestabilityofasphaltconcreteroadsurfaceworse.Theformeriscausedbyakeyfactorinpavementrutting.InaccordancewiththeMinistryofTransportationdesignandtechnicalspecificationsrelatedtotestingstandards,thepavementloadfortherearaxleload100kN,tirepressureis0.75MPa.Butthisyear,nationwideautogaugecontrolwork,beforedrivingonthehighwaymostofthelargetrucksformorethan30%overrun,andsomeevenashighas180KN,tirepressureupto1.1MPa.

Hightemperaturestabilityofasphaltconcreteroadsurfaceispoor,particularlyinlike2003andthiscontinuedundertheinfluenceofhightemperature,surfacetemperatureisoftenabove70℃,thentheinternal,suchasroadsurfacetemperaturesinthesurfacelayerofahigherandlongerduration.Themainroleofthemiddlelayerisapermanentdeformationandruttingresistance,accordingtoChineseandU.S.scientistsstudyshowsthat:

Rutisthemainpartoftheroadsurface5cm-10cm.

Forsemi-rigidpavement,iftheprimarydoesnotdamaged,thentheruttinginasphaltconcretepavementistogeneratethe.Theroadsurfacetemperaturestabilityarethemainreasonsarethefollowingaspects:

highoilcontentofasphaltconcrete,asphaltsensitivetotemperature,toofeworbrokencoarseaggregatecausedbylackofinterlockingforcesfacedown,FineAggregateexcessiveamountofriversand,asphaltconcretecompactioncannotmeettherequirementsandsoon.

Thereasonsfortheformationofroadownedpackageadditiontotheaboveaspects,therearetworeasons:

First,theheterogeneityofroadconstruction;second,poorroadsurfaceroughness.Bothroughdrivinginthecar,becausecarsunderimpact,likelytocausepavementdepression.Andthisdepressionisthe"MatthewEffect",depressionafterhigh-speedautomobileroadwillhavegreaterimpact,whilethelargertheimpactwillbegreaterdepression.

2.3PavementCracks

Pavementcracksaremainlytwo:

oneistheshrinkageofasphaltconcretepavementcracks;aPavementcrackingisaresultofreflectioncracks.Astheductilityofasphaltconcreteissuperiortosemi-rigidbase,especiallyincementstabilizedbase.Aslongastheextensionoftheirdegreeofasphaltandasphaltconcretetomeetthedesignrequirementsoftheoilcontent,thetemperaturecracksgenerallyoccurlessandlesseffect.Icomeintocontactwiththehighwaypavementcracks,especiallyintransversefractures,mainlyreflectivecracking.

Asthebasisforasphaltconcretepavement,cementstabilizedbasewithflexuralstrengthrequirements.However,thespecificconstructionandqualitycontrolprocessalsomustbestrictcontrolofitscementconsumption,meetingdesigndemandsstrengthofthepremise,asfaraspossiblereducetheamountofcement,therebyreducingtheoccurrenceofreflectivecracksandreducethecrackwidth.

2.4Thepavementcracksandloose

Pavementcrackingismainlycausedduetostructuraldamage.Ifnotmeetthedesignrequirementsofgrassrootsflexuralstrength;orunderthelimitvehicles,primaryloadsexceedingthedesignload,thegrassrootswillbedestroyed.

Looseroadsurfaceitselfisusuallythereason,impuritiessuchasaggregates,oilpro-pooraggregates,asphaltconcreteoil-lessso.

2.5PavementBleeding

Asphaltconcretepavementweepingmainlyhighinoilcontent,aggregateinterlockingduetoinsufficientstrengthofasphaltandfineaggregateonthepandue.

3ofroadconstructionqualitycontrol

Qualitycontrolisakeyconstructionprocesswork.FIDICprovisionsinaccordancewiththerelevanttechnicalspecificationsandtheMinistryofCommunicationsisacomprehensiveandsystematicwork.Inthisarticle,thewriterforthediseaseonsomemajoraspectsoftheroadalittleabouttheirownexperiences.

3.1Selectionandstorageofrawmaterials

3.1.1Aggregate

Pavementconstructionaggregateconsumptionofalarge,12000t/kmabove.Sochooseasuitableaggregateincontroloftheproductioncostsandimprovethequalityofconstructionisimportant.Specialattentionshouldbeonaggregatefollowingmatters:

3.1.1.1Inthesamelayer,theaggregatematerialsandingredientsshouldbeasconsistentaspossible,soastoensuretheuniformityofthestructurelayer.

3.1.1.2Aggregateweatheringconditionsandsedimentcontentshouldbestrictlycontrolled,particularlyinthesurfacelayerofmaterial,"amudholeisa"cleanaggregatelevel,directlyaffecttheconservationeffort.

3.1.1.3AggregatesurfacedirectlyaffectthepHofaggregateandasphaltadhesion.Therefore,inthechoiceofsurfacematerialsandasphalttogethermusttakeintoconsideration,thetwomustmeeteachotherinordertoachievegoodresults.

3.1.1.4Primarygeneralconstructionwithcontinuousmixing,whichrequiresthestorageofprimaryaggregatesandstackedtobecarriedoutstrictlyinaccordancewithspecifications,topreventsegregation.Canguaranteetheuniformityofbaseconstruction.

3.1.1.5Aggregatestackspacenecessarytodothesitehardeninganddifferentspecificationsoftheworkpilingupaggregatesegregation.

3.1.2Binderbindermeans:

CementStabilizedsurfacelayerofcementandasphalt.Botharekeymaterialsinroadconstruction.

3.1.2.1Cementrequirements:

lowheatofhydrationtoreducetheprimarycrack;retardedtomeettheconstructionschedule;stabilityistoensurethatgrass-rootsstrength.

3.1.2.2morestringentrequirementsontheasphalt,andsomeindicatorsofmutualrestraint,manytimesinthetestanddesigntoachievethebestresults.Specificsuchas:

hightemperaturestabilityrequirementsinordertoensureconsistencyofhighandlowtemperaturesensitivity,inordertoensureconsistencyrequirementoflowtemperaturecrackingresistanceandlowtemperaturesensitivity.Differentregionsanddifferentaggregateswillmakedifferentdemandsontheasphalt,itshouldbeaccordingtolocalconditions,chooseagoodpitch.

3.2MixDesign

Pavementmixdesignisthekeytomanyfactorsmustbeconsidered.Thisarticlewillmixthesurfacelayershouldbebasedon,thefollowingfeatureslayerstodesign.

3.2.1MixDesigngrassrootscementdosageshouldbestrictlycontrolled
