●MSEidentifiesandquantifiesthedifferentsourcesofvariationthataffectameasurementsystem.
MSE找出並量化影響量測系統的差異之不同來源.
●Variationinmeasurementscanbeattributedtovariationintheproductitselfortovariationinthemeasurementsystem.
量測結果的差異可能是由產品本身的差異,或是由量測系統的差異所導致.

MSE的主要元素
●TheobjectiveofanMSEistolearnasmuchaspossibleaboutthemeasurementprocessinashortamountoftime(e.g.,potentialstudy).
MSE的目標就是在一段短時間內儘可能的多瞭解量測作業流程(例:
潛能學習).
●Thestrategyistoincludeequipment,operators,parts,etc.thatwillusuallybeelementsofthemeasurementprocess.
MSE的策略是包含設備,作業人員,元件等等量測作業流程的元素.
●Arandomselectionofpartsrepresentinginherentprocessvariationfromproductionshouldbemade.
隨機抽選量測元件可呈現在正常生產流程狀況之下所產生的變異.
●Thepartsshouldbelabeledinawaytorecordmeasurementsandremovepossibleoperatorbias(blindmarking).

Purpose:

Toassesshowmuchvariationisassociatedwiththemeasurementsystemandtocompareittothetotalprocessvariationortolerances.
評估量測系統的差異程度,並將其與整個流程的差異或誤差做比較.
Repeatability:
重覆性
Variationobtainedbythesamepersonusingthesameinstrumentonthesameproductorserviceforrepeatedmeasurements(variabilitywithinoperator/devicecombination).
同一作業人員使用同一設備對同一產品或服務重覆量測所得的差異(作業人員與設備的變化性).
Reproducibility:
重現性
Variationobtainedduetodifferencesinpeoplewhoaretakingthemeasurements(variabilitybetweenoperators).

●Classasawhole;analysisindividually
全員參與;個人分別分析.
●Eachteamwillbeconsideredtobean"operator."Theirtaskistomeasuretheinsidediametersofavarietyoffunnels.Each"operator"willmeasureeachof10funnels,twice.Thatis,ntrials=2.Each"operator"willdeviseitsownmeasuringtechniqueanddocumentitwithaMeasurementSystemProcessFlowDiagram.
每一小組當做一個“作業員”,其任務為測量不同漏斗的內徑.每一個“作業員”應測量十個漏斗各兩次.亦即測量次數n=2.每一個“作業員”應報告其測量方式並將其記錄於量測系統流程圖.
●Oneteamwillserveasthecontrolgroupthatsuppliestheproductstoeachofthe"operators"formeasurement.Thecontrolgroupwillreceivethemeasuredvaluefromthe"operator"andplaceitintheappropriatecellontheaccompanyingspreadsheet.
其中一組將扮演管制小組的角色將產品(漏斗)供應給每一個“作業員”以供測量.管制小組亦將從每一個“作業員”處收集量測數據,並將其填入下一頁之記綠表格.
●Oncethedataisavailable,eachpersonwilluseSPC/MSEtoconductameasurementsystemstudy.Evaluatethemeasurementsystemandcommentontherepeatabilityandreproducibilityofthe"operators."Precision-to-toleranceratioscanonlybeobtainedwhenspecsaregiven.
當數據收集完成,每一個人應運用SPC/MSE進行量測系統研究.評估所有“作業員”的量測系統並對其重覆性與重現性提出意見.祇有在知道規格的情況之下,才可得知精準度對誤差值比例.
