Thepresentinventionrelatestoapowersourcesystemhavingapoweraccumulatorforsupplyingwhenacommercialpowersourceoeotherinterruptiblepowersourcebreaksdown,apowersupplycontrolmethodOfthepowersourcesystem,apowersupplycontrolprogramOfthepowersourcesystem,acomputerreadablerecodingmediumhavingpowersupplycontrolprogramOfthepowersourcesystemrecodedthereon.

BackgroundArt

Inrecentyears,apoweraccumulatorhasdrawnwideattentionandbeenusedasbackuppowersource.Abackuppowersourceischangedwhenacommercialpowersourceoperatednormally,andcontinuessupplypowertoequipmentinplaceofthecommercialpowersourcewhencommercialpowersourcehasadefect.ExamplesofsuchabackuppowersourceincludeaUPS(UninterruptivePowerSource).Byinstantaneouslyswitchingthecommercialpowersourcetoanoutputofthebackuppowersourceincaseofpoweroutage,acomputerorastorageunitinuse,aswellasnetworkequipmentsuchasaserverarepreventedfrombeingstopped.

Suchabackuppowersourcecombinedwiththepoweraccumulatoriscontrolledtomaintainresidualcapacityrepresentingthestateofchargeatahighlevel.Inthissystem,generallybecausesurpluspowerischargedinpoweraccumulatorefficientlybyapowergenerationactionofanelectricmotor,charge|dischargecontrolisperformedsothattheSOCdoesnotexceed100%.Inordertosupplypowertotheelectricmotorwhennecessary,charge|dischargecontrolisperformedsothattheSOCdoesnotdecreaseto0(zero).Specially,normallyinpoweraccumulator,thecontrolisperformedsothattheSOCfluctuateswithinarangeof20%to80%.

Withregardtoelevators,ontheotherhand,ahybridelevatorthathasacageandacounterweighttoinhibitunnecessarypowerconsumptionduringtheoperationofhybridelevatorhasbeendeveloped.Suchahybridelevatorutilizesthepowerofitsbatteryatthetimeofpoweroutage,sothatincaseofpoweroutageorotherabnormalstateduringofoperationofthehybridelevator,thepowerfordrivingtheelevatorissuppliedfromapowersourcetocarrytheelevatortothenearestfloororanyfloorandsafelyretrievethepassagefromthestage.

Thefollowingmethodisproposedasamethodforcontrollinganautomaticlandingdeviceoftheelevator.PatentDocument1,forexample,disclosesamethodfordetectingtheoutputvoltage,outputcurrent,andatemperatureofabatterypowersourcetoperformarescueoperationinresponsetothepowersupplycapacityofthebatterypowersource.

Here,asamethodforcalculatingthepowersupplycapacity,amethodforcalculatingthepowersupplycapacityfromtheopenvoltage,internalresistance,andminimumvoltage(operablevoltage)ofthebatterypowersourceisgenerallyknown,asshownisequation

(1)below.Theminimumvoltageusedforcalculatingthepowersupplycapacityissetwithacertaindegreeofmargin,inviewofthelifeofthebatterypowersource.

Moreover,thehybridelevatorhastoalwayssecureenergyamountforcarryingtheelevatortoanecessaryfloorincaseofemergencyduringthenormaloperationofcommercialpowersource,andthereonalargepoweraccumulatorwithalargecapacityrequired.

InthemethoddisclosedinPatentDocument1,theoutputvoltageandthevoltagesetvaluearecomparedwitheachotherbyadischargetimeanddischargestateofthebatteryisdetectedbythemagnituderelationtherebetweentocontroltheoperationoftheelevator.Therefore,whenthepowersupplycapacityofthebatterypowersourceislow,thepowersupplycapacitywillbelost,therebystoppingthepowersupplyfromthebattery.Inthiscase,becausechargingofthebatterypowersourceisstartedaftertheinterruptiblepowersourcereturns,andtherescueoperationisconducteduponcompletionofthecharging,theelevatorcannotbecarriedtothenearestfloortoperformrescueoperationinthecaseofanabnormalsituationoftheinterruptiblepowersource.Asaresult,thepassengersremaintrappedintheelevator.

Moreover,whentheinterruptiblepowersourceisstoppedduetodisasterlikeasinthehybridelevator,itisnecessaryforthebackuppowersourcetoensuretheminimumpowersupplycapacityforenablingminimumoperation.Consequently,becauseamarginbecomesnecessaryinthecapacityofthebackuppowersource,alargepoweraccumulatorisnecessary.

Inaddition,theminimumvoltageusedforcalculatingthepowersupplycapacityhasamargin,inviewofthelifeproperty.Therefore,thevalueoftheactualpowersupplycapacityissmallerthanthethatoftheprimarypowersupplycapacityofthepoweraccumulator.

Disclosureofinvention

Anobjectofthepresentinventionistoprovideapowersourcesystemcapableofrealizingatleasttheminimumbackupfunction,increasingthelifedurationofapoweraccumulator,andreducingthesizeofthepoweraccumulatorbytemporarilyimprovingthepowersupplycapacityofapoweraccumulatorwhenaninterruptiblepowersourceisstoppedbydisasterorthelike.Thepresentinventionalsoprovideapowersupplycontrolmethodofthepowersourcesystem,apowersupplycontrolprogramOfthepowersourcesystemandacomputerreadablerecodingmediumhavingpowersupplycontrolprogramOfthepowersourcesystemrecodedthereon.

Apowersourcesystemaccordingtoanaspectofthepresentinventionhas:

apowerunitforsupplyingpowertoaloadservice;apoweraccumulatorforsupplyingthepowertoaloadserviceinplaceofthepowerunitwhenthepowerunitisstopped,andacontrollerforcontrollingpowersupplyfromthepoweraccumulatortoaloadservice;whereinthecontrollersetsanoperablevoltage,whichisdeterminedasanoutputvoltagefoeendingdischargeofthepoweraccumulator,atafirstvoltagewhenthepowerunitisoperated,andsetstheoperablevoltageatasecondvoltagelowerthanthefirstvoltagewhenthepowerunitisstopped,therebyincreasingthepowersuppliedtotheloaddevicebythepoweraccumulator.

Accordingtothepowersourcesystemdescribedabove,thepowersupplycapacityofthepoweraccumulatorcanbeimprovedbyreducingtheoperablevoltageofthepoweraccumulatorwhenthepowerunitisstopped,theoperablevoltagebeingsetduringthenormaloperationofthepowerunit.Furthermore,becausetheoperablevoltageofthepoweraccumulatorisreducedafterthepowerunitisstopped,andthenumberofthetimesthatthepoweraccumulatorisover-dischargedduotothedecreaseintheoperablevoltagecanbepreventedfromincreasing.,thelifedurationofthepoweraccumulatorcanbeincreased.Inaddition,thesizeofthepoweraccumulatorcanbereducedbecauseitisnotnecessarytoincreasethecapacityofthepoweraccumulatorbeforehandinthelightofanincreaseinpowersupplywhenthepowerunitisstopped.

Theinterruptiblepowersource100is,forexample,acommercialpowersource,suchasageneratorhavinganengineasasourceofpower.

Thepoweraccumulator300storessurpluspowerfromtheinterruptiblepowersource100andregenerativeelectricpowergeneratedbytheloaddevice200,andsuppliesthestoredelectricpowertotheloaddevice200accordingtoneed.Thepoweraccumulator300isconfiguredbyconnectingNnumberofelectricpoweraccumulationelementblocksB1,B2,......BNinseries.EachoftheelectricpoweraccumulationelementblocksB1,B2,......BNisconfiguredelectricallyconnectingapluralityofelectricalstorageelements301series.Analkalinestoragebatterysuchasanickelhydridebattery,anorganicbatterysuchasalithium-ionbattery,andanelectricaldoublelayercapacitorcanbeusedaseachoftheelectricalstorageelements301.NotethatthenumberNofelectricpoweraccumulationelementblocksandthethenumberoftheelectricalstorageelements301arenotparticularlylimited.

Thepoweraccumulator300hasapredeterminedrangeofoperatingvoltagedeterminedbeforehand,sothatthebatterycharacteristics,lifedurationandreliabilityofthepoweraccumulator300arenotdegraded.Operablevoltage,whichistheminimumvoltage(finalvoltage)ofthisoperatingvoltagerangeisthevoltageforendingdischargeofthepoweraccumulator300.Duringthenormaloperation,whentheoutputvoltageofthepoweraccumulator300fallsbelowtheoperablevoltage,dischargeofthepoweraccumulator300;namely,powersupplyfromhepoweraccumulator300,isstopped.However,powersupplyfromthepoweraccumulator300ispossibleuntiltheoutputvoltageofthepoweraccumulator300fallsbelowtheoperablevoltage;namely,byreducingtheoperablevoltage.Inthiscase,thepoweraccumulator300isover-dischargedtemporarily,butthethebatterycharacteristicsandthelikeofthepoweraccumulator300arenotimpingedsolongasthedischargeofthepoweraccumulator300isexecutedwithoutdegradingthethebatterycharacteristics,lifedurationandreliabilityofthepoweraccumulator300.
