However,theirteachersandparentsareworriedaboutthis.Teachersdon'twanttoseethescenethattheirstudentsarethinkingabouthowtoplaygamesintheclass.Usually,justapartofstudentscometoclass,theotherareplayinggamesinsteadofhavingclasses.Parentstoldtheirchildrenthattheyshallstudyhardatschoolwhentheirchildrenleavehome.Butwhatupsetstheparentsisthatthechildrenarejustplayingonlinegamesatschool.

社团建立刍议

一、社团宗旨TheaimoftheEnglishpublicspeaking&debateLeague
英语演讲与辩论社团的宗旨是：
ThroughdebateandpublicspeakingtheoralEnglishandlogicalwayofthinkingofthestudents’willbeimproved;thehorizonwillbebroadened;thespiritwillbeenlightened.ItwillenablethemtothinkandjudgeinrealsituationsbymeansofEnglish,bytheway,theirwillfindconfidencewhencommunicateordeliveraspeech.ThisLeaguewillfullytaketheroleofstudents’secondclass,inthisway,acommongroundwillbeestablishedforthestudentstogivethemachancetoknowandlearnfromeachotherandgainfriendshipthere.通过辩论、演讲等活动形式加强社员的英语口语表达能力和逻辑思辨能力、开阔社员视野，启迪社员心智。
学会用英语思维，增强英语实战能力，增加成员英语表达的自信。
英语演讲与辩论社团充分发挥学生第二课堂作用，让成员们在英语口语交流中互相了解，建立友谊，为热爱英语的同学搭建交流平台。

3、三分钟演讲（threeminutespresentation）：
英语演讲是英语语言的组织能力的综合运用。
演讲与辩论社团指导学生如何进行英语演讲与辩论，每次课前进行“三分钟演讲”，给学生提供感兴趣的话题，使学生掌握演讲技巧，并积累大量词汇。
同时，鼓励学生参加中学生英语演讲比赛，在比赛中得到锻炼和提高。
MakingEnglishspeechistheemployoftheartofspeakinginEnglish.ThememberswilllearnhowtodeliveranEnglishspeechandtodebateinEnglishundertheinstructionoftheLeague.Thestudentswillbeprovidedwithinterest-arousingtopicsintheirthreeminutes’presentationsatthebeginningoftheclasseverydaysothattheirstrategyofmakingaspeechwillbeperfectedandtheirvocabularywillsnowballaswell.
4、辩论赛：
Englishdebatecontest
通过教师的辩论指导，观看辩论比赛录像，培养成员的英语辩论水平和团体合作能力，同时组织一定的辩论赛使学生掌握英语辩论技能。

5、户内外英语角：
OutdoorandIndoorEnglishcorner
活动内容丰富多彩，如：
组织社员观看英文电影，小组讨论，阅读英文版经典名著，设计英语猜词，接龙等小游戏，还可邀请外教参与口语交流等，目的是让社员们在活动中愉快地学英语，自信地讲英语。

五、社刊LearningmaterialsofLeague
由社员集体自行搜集资料（符合本社团宗旨），汇编成册，定期选择社员自己的优秀演讲稿、小诗，散文等各式文体的稿件编入社刊（可设编辑若干名，文笔最好者可任主编）。
