在森林里有棵好大好大的树，树上住着一只乌鸦。
树下有个洞，洞里住着一只狐狸。
Oneday,thecrowstoodonthetreewithapieceofmeat,andthefoxsawher.Thefoxwasveryhungryandwantedthemeatinthemouthofthecrow.Asthefoxcouldntclimbtrees,andtherewasnowaytogetthemeatunderthetree.
一天，乌鸦叼来一块肉，站在树上休息，被狐狸看到了。
狐狸非常嘴馋，很想得到乌鸦嘴里的那块肉。
由于乌鸦在树枝上用嘴叼着肉，狐狸不会爬树，又没有办法在树下得到。

狐狸摇摇尾巴，第三次说话了：

当时，有四条龙住在东海。

“我们得做点什么，”长龙说道，黄龙点头附和。

春天来了。
池塘里的冰融化了。
青蛙妈妈睡了一个冬天。
她从泥洞里爬出来，扑通一声跳进池塘里，在水草上生下了很多黑黑的圆圆的卵。

他们一起游到鸭妈妈身边，问鸭妈妈“鸭妈妈，您看见过我们的妈妈吗?

鸭妈妈回答说：

”小蝌蚪一边说着，一边高高兴兴地向前游去。

一条大鱼游了过来。
小蝌蚪看见头顶上有两只大眼睛，他们想一定是妈妈来了，追上去喊妈妈：
“妈妈!

”大鱼笑着说：
“我不是你们的妈妈。
你们的妈妈有四条腿，到前面去找吧。

小蝌蚪说：
“谢谢您啦!
鱼妈妈!
”小蝌蚪再向前游去。

一只大乌龟游过来了。
小蝌蚪看见大乌龟有四条腿，就追上去喊：
“妈妈!

”

大乌龟笑着说：
“我不是你们的妈妈。
你们的妈妈肚皮是白的，到前面去找吧。
”

小蝌蚪谢过乌龟向前游去。

一只大白鹅叫着游了过来。
小蝌蝌看见大白鹅的白肚皮，高兴地想：

大白鹅笑着说：

小蝌蚪谢过鹅妈妈，继续向前游去。

小蝌蚪游呀游呀，游到池塘边，看见一只青蛙坐在圆荷叶上。
他们赶快游过去，小声地问：
“请问您，您看见我们的妈妈吗?
她头顶上有两只大眼睛，有四条腿，白白的肚皮，穿着绿衣服。
”

"
青蛙听了“咯咯”地笑起来，她说：
“傻孩子，我就是你们的妈吗呀!

大臣们对每一个来领种子的孩子说：
“如果你能用这些种子培育出最美丽的花朵，那么，你便能成为国王的继承人。
”

领到种子后，孩子们欢天喜地地回家了。

听了国王的话，那些捧着鲜花的孩子们，个个面红耳赤，因为他们播种的不是国王发给他们的花种子。
