HavingbeenlearningEnglishlanguageforatleastmorethanthreeyears,thestudentsacquiresomebasiclanguageabilities.Theycantalkaboutcertaintopics,expressingtheiridealsandthoughtstosomedegree;theyhavemasteredsomereadingskillsandcanunderstandtheteachingcontent.
JuniorstudentshavealreadyknownsomeknowledgeaboutfestivalsinChinaandabroad.Theircognitivecompetencehasapproachedcertainleveltolearnabout,understandandhaverightattitudetowardwesterncultureandChinesetraditionalculture.
Theyarelongingforthenewthings,andhaveastrongdesiretolearntheknowledge.Furthermore,theirthinkingisbrisk,andtheyareeagerforthepraise,andsomestudentswillbegladtotakepartintheactivityenergetically.

ThispartisintendedtohavestudentsstartthinkingaboutthevarietyofeventsandfestivalsthatarecelebratedinChina,andconnectthemwithseasonsoftheyearandreasonsforthecelebrations.TheteachercanusethisparttointroduceinformationthatChinesestudentsshouldhaveabouttheircountry’sculturalevents.
