Therewasalwaystheunexpectedduringthefestival.In1974,formerBeatlePaulMcCartneyattended.In1992,morethansixhundredreportersfromEurope,Asia,andSouthAmericawenttocovertheappearanceofapopularstar,BillyRayCyrus,whohadintroducedanewcountrylinedance.In1996,GarthBrooks,whomadeasurpriseappearance,signedautographs(签名)for23hours.
