TheworstpartofthedayformeisdefinitelywhenIhavetogetup.Wakingup,thatIcanhandle.Butgettingup?

That,Ihate.ThecoversIhaveonmybedareheavy,mostlybecauseIhaveacomforteraswellasalightblanket.Isleepwithtwopillows,whichforsomereasonhavedifferentcolorpillowcases.Well,atleastthesheetsmatch.

Isometimeswakeupbeforethealarmgoesoff.Iliketokeepthealarmatalowvolume,withsomeclassicalmusic,nothingtoojarring.Myoldroommateusedtoliketheterriblebuzzerthatyoufindonmostalarmclocksnowadays,whichalwaysusedtodrivemenuts.AsIwassaying,Isometimeswakeupbeforethealarm,usuallybecauseofsomenoiseoutsidethehouse—acardoorslamming,analarmgoingoff,gunfire—well,okay,notgunfire,butman,ismyneighborhoodnoisy!

Ofcourse,whenI’mstayinginahotel,it’susuallyeasiertojustgetawakeupcallfromthehotelthansetthealarm.

I’mnotreallyanearlyriser,soIdon’tjumpoutofbedreadytotakeontheworld.Igetupveryslowly,usuallyonefootontheflooratatime.EveryonceinawhileI’lloversleep,butnottoooften.Ireallylovetheweekends,whenIcansleepin.

Igointomybathroomsometimearound6:

45a.m.Mysinkandmedicinecabinetareontheleftwhenyouentermybathroom.Thetoiletisnexttothat,withthetubinfront.Anyway,Iturnonthelights,andtrytofindthemouthwashinthemedicinecabinet.Ipourasmallamountintoacup,swishitaroundfor30seconds,gargle,andspit.Notpleasant,butnecessary.ThenIgetoutthefloss.WhenI’mdoneflossing,Ipulloutthetoothbrushandthetoothpaste.Ibrushandthenit’sofftotheshower.
