　　MybasketballjourneybeganonthebackofcoachLiZhangmin'sbicyclewhenhegavemearidetomyveryfirstpracticeonthebasketballcourt.Iwouldliketocongratulateyouonagreatcareerasyouretirethisyear.Somanykidshavebenefitedfromyouandyourwork.

　　CoachLiQiupingyouweremycoachattheShanghaiSharks.YouledustotheCBAchampionship,andnevergaveuponus,evenwhenyoulostyourwifetocancerthatyear.Thankyouforyourdedicationandyoursacrificestous.

　　IwanttothankthecityofShanghai,ShanghaiSharksandtheCBAleaguedideverythingtheycouldtoprepareme.Theyraisedme,trainedmeandhelpedmetobereadyforthenextchallengesinmylife.

　　IwanttomentionMr.MouZouyun.Hewasabasketballlegend.Over80yearsago,Mr.MoucameheretoSpringfieldtostudybasketball.HewentbacktoChinaanddedicatedhislifetoChinesebasketball.Today,theCBAChampionshipCupisnamedafterhim.ThiscupisthelifegoalthateveryCBAplayercandreamof.

　　IamnotthefirstChinesemantoplayintheNBA.ThathonorbelongsWangZhiZhi.HewasapioneerforallfutureChineseplayerswhodreamofcomingtotheNBA.Heclearedtheroadforusandmadesomanysacrifices.Ilearnedsomuchfromhim.Althoughhecannotbeheretoday,Iwanttothankhim.

　　RudyT.isfamousforsaying“Neverunderestimatetheheartofachampion.”Rudyhasdemonstratedthisnotonlyonthecourt,butoffthecourttoo,especiallyinhisbattlewithcancer.Rudy,youhavealwaysinspiredmetobethebestthatIcanbe.

　　WhenJeffVanGundyarrivedwithPatrickEwingandTomThibideau,thatcoachingstaffturnedusintoatoughdefensiveteam,likehealwaysdoes.

　　WithT-Mac,ShaneBattier,RaferAlston,webecameatalentedyoungteamespeciallywithDikembe.Thatteamwasnotonlycompetitive,butateamwithabrotherhood.

　　IallwaysremembercoachVanGundysaidoncethatthebestchancealsocouldbeyourlast.Thatistrueinbasketballandinlife.

　　Alloftheseindividualsarestarsandtogethertheyformthegalaxyintheuniverseofbasketball.Thegamehasinspiredbillionsofpeoplearoundtheworld.Asoneofthem,Iwilldomyparttocontinuetohelpgrowthegreatgameofbasketballandwealllookforwardtowatchingthestarsoftomorrowemergeandshine.

　　直到今天，我仍难以想象我站在这里，尽管我之前也想过许多次，感谢三位前辈对我的推荐。

女士们，先生们，下午好，今晚当我听到我第一个演讲时，我感到各位是不是搞错了大家不要取笑我，因为我认为这个舞台，是艾弗森这样伟大的球员才应该站上来，大家相信我说的吗

　　因为相比他这样的天才而言，我显然需要更多的训练。

直面这样的发言，艾弗森忍不住捂嘴大笑。

　　首先，请允许我感谢名人堂给我这项荣誉，今晚将成为我人生中最重要的记忆，对我来说，我职业生涯结束的太快了，所以我非常珍惜职业生涯每一个重要的时刻。

所以我得感谢坐在这里的推荐人们，比尔-拉塞尔，我记得是你把我邀请到西雅图的家中，共进晚餐，当时你给我提供了许多建议，你让我第一年的NBA生涯变得顺利。

比尔-沃顿先生，你一直都支持我，你的建议你的鼓励，从最初就给了我许大的帮助，不过我觉得，直到现在，你还能有很多建议。

当我做第一次手术醒来的时候，是你告诉我要坚持下去。

　　最后一位，哦，穆大叔你看起来是这三位中最老的，我们一起度过了五年，非常棒的回忆，无论球场上还是球场下，同时你也跟我一起陪练了很久。

　　大家都知道我来自中国，从中国到这里是非常漫长的旅程。

回到当年，我从父母那里听到了许多CBA球星的故事，而我的父亲则是70年代的篮球运动员。

我非常荣幸能成为我父母的儿子。

从你们那里收到的礼物不仅仅是我的身高，更是如何做决定，如何坚持不懈，很幸运能有这样的父亲，托他的福，我连续投篮的次数比沙克多的多，数以万计。

今天我夫人也来到这里，我从高中时便认识了她，感谢这一路走来，你一直都支持我，今天我的`女儿是开学的第一周，所以没办法来到这里，但让我很郁闷的是，她体育课选择的是足球，而不是篮球。

　　是的，我回去会解决这个问题的。

　　这位是李秋平教练，在过去一路引导我，让我从自行车转到篮球这项运动中，在我生命中发挥了重要的作用。

李秋平教练，你是我在上海队时的教练，时常用自行车载着我去训练。

那是我在中国夺得的第一次冠军，在其中你付出了许多，牺牲了许多。

当时你的夫人因癌症而离世，然而你一直不断的支持我。

所以非常感谢。

在这里我还得感谢上海市政府和CBA，感谢大家培养我，培训我，给我机会，让我接受生命中下一个挑战。

在中国有一句老话，以铜为鉴，可以正衣冠;以史为鉴，可以知兴替。

　　我想要和大家分享几个生命中几个重要的时刻，在中国，有一位传奇叫牟作云，80年前，他来到斯普林菲尔德学习打篮球，之后他回到了中国，将毕生都奉献给了篮球事业，事实上CBA冠军的名字，就是以他命名的。

每一位CBA球员都希望夺得CBA冠军，我并不是第一位效力于NBA的球员，第一位是王治郅。

他成为所有想要来到NBA的中国球员的偶像，他做出了如此多的牺牲，他学会了很多，尽管他不能来到现场，但我仍要感谢他。

　　很多人都知道，火箭在02年选中了我的时候，你们都不知道休斯敦火箭在背后做了多少努力，感谢所有火箭的所有人，让我在休斯敦宾至如归。

当我第一天到休斯敦的时候，弗朗西斯就给了我一个大大的拥抱，我们彼此击掌相庆，你们都对我很好，就像我的兄弟一样。

当时弗朗西斯把我请到他的家中，给我介绍了他的海鲜，当时我英语实在太差了，所以我听上去是“很咸”，没弄明白他说的是哪种菜。

感谢我的教练汤姆贾诺维奇，永远不要低估一颗冠军的心。

不仅是在场上，在场下也是如此，尤其是他不断与癌症做斗争的过程中，一直都激励着我，成为一个更好的人。

　　范甘迪教练加入我们的时候，他的执教策略是把我们变成一支非常强硬的，防守型的球队，我的队友巴蒂尔，穆托姆博，都是防守悍将。

我们不仅是一支球队，还是一个兄弟连。

我一直记得范甘迪教练说过，你最好的一次机会往往就是你最后的机会。

无论是在篮球，还是生活中，都是一样。

　　最后就是里克-阿德尔曼，他为我们培养了洛瑞、兰德里与斯科拉这些有天赋的球员，可非常让我遗憾的是，由于伤病的原因，我们没有走的很远。

我永远会把与休斯敦火箭的那段时光，当成生命中最完美的记忆。

休斯敦的队员们，我认为你们是世界上最棒的运动员，伟大的运动员，不仅仅懂得团队合作，我同时还要感谢所有的对手，就像大鲨鱼奥尼尔那样，你们不断支持我，让我变得更强。

　　我同时还得感谢所有的对手，每一场我们对决的比赛，我都想起一首歌的名字，杀不死你的，才会让你变得更强。

　　休斯敦是我第二故乡，我想对休斯敦人民说几句，你们一直都站在我身后支持我，给了我不断前进的力量，我会把你们视为永远的家人，休斯敦火箭，你是我一辈子的家人。

　　当然我们还要感谢大卫-斯特恩先生，感谢他的远见。

感谢所有NBA的各位，给予我的支持。

最后要对姚之队的所有人，我们现在看起来又老又胖，想想我们第一次见面的时候，女士们，先生们。

在这里还要向奈-史密斯博士致敬，以及所有的全体名人堂成员致敬，在过去的25年间，不断推进篮球这项事业在全球的发展，不管是个人，还是伟大的明星。

抱歉，我的英语还是没有那么好。

我想说的是，所有天空之中，伟大的群星们。

　　所有的这些个人，你们都是伟大的明星，你们一起组成了篮球界的银星，世界上数以十亿级的人，每天都在从事篮球这项运动。

我也将会不断推进篮球运动的发展，期待看到明日之星冉冉升空，感谢大家给我的荣誉，谢谢。
