1.Foreword

CommoninterfacesoftwareisalsocalledDemoprogram.Beusedtorunsecondarydevelopmentasreference.Since1.00editionshavebeenpublishedin2001,ithascomethroughfourupdates.Atpresent,thenewesteditionsis1.09.Theproductisusedasadditiveequipmentandsupportsseveraloffunctions.Itisinterfaceprocedurethathassomefunctionascomprehensive,friendlyinterfaceandflexiblegeneric.Mainfunctionsareasfollowing:

equipmentparametersetting,listmanagement,recordreading,thetimesetting,thesettingforakindofsmartcard（Electriclockopens,alarmandbuttonsworketc.）,consumptionparametersetting,menusetting,downloadcharacterlibraryandcollectioneverytimeetc.Atthesametime,userscanalsousetheinterfaceproceduresfortheperiodicmaintenanceofmachinestoplaythebestperformanceandeffectivetoextendtheduration.

Usetheinterfacesoftware,fistregistertheequipmentinformation,thespecificoperationisfinishedonequipmentmanagementpage.Thesystemprovidesthefollowingtwomethods:

●Searchautomatically

Ifusersdon’tknowthetypeofequipment,userscansearchallimplementinthewholenetwork.

Lookuptheport:

COMmustchoosetheconnectionportbetweennetworkandcomputer.

Communicationspeed:

9600、19200and38400etc,selectivecommunicationspeedmustequalthemachinespeed,otherwisetheywon'tfind.Ifusersdon'tknowthemachinespeedthatmaybeanoptiontosearchfortheidentification,thesettingofleavingfactoryis9600.

Machinenumber:

Setupthesearchrangofmachinenumber.Ifamachinenumberis30,itssearch

rangisbetween00—10,thesystemdon’tfindthemachine.

Verifycommunicationorder:

WhenyousearchthemachineofER-88xandER-900type,pleasedon’tchoosetheparameter,otherwiseneedtochoosetheparameter.

●Handcraftregistration

Machinenumber:

InputthecommunicationdevicenumberofimplementwhichwillshowonLCDscreen.Note:

settingscopeofequipmentnumberis00--FF（Accordingto16scalesetupthenumber.）Total256equipmentnumbercanbeset.

Forexample:

Theequipmentnumber01-CmeansNo.01ICmachine;02-DmeansNo.02IDmachine.

Communicationport:

SetCOMportwhichequipmentconnectedtohostcomputer.

Communicationspeed:

Thetransmissionspeedbetweenequipmentandcomputer.（Tolerantspeed:

9600bps）

Commonlychoosetheidentifyautomatically,including610、680and690areconsumptionequipment;710、730、980and981aresmartequipment;830、880、889and890isattendanceequipment,youareadvisedtorefertothewebsiteforfurtherdetails.

Versionnumber:

Canfindbysearchingautomatically.

Onlineway:

Ifchooseserial-portcommunication,don’tneedtowritetheTCP&IPaddress,buttheCOMaddressmustbewriten;IfchooseTCP/IPcommunication,don’tneedtowritetheCOMaddress,buttheTCP&IPaddressmustbewriten.

WhetherisIC：

EquipmentisusedtodistinguishICorID,pleasefillintheactualsituation.

Accession:

Firstcompletedtosetequipmentparametersinthe"Portsetting",suchasequipmentnumber,speedetc.,andthenhitthe"add"toentertheequipmentlistontheleft.

Modification:

Firstchosenonemachineinthe"equipmentlist",andthenamendsitinthe"portsetting",finallyclickthefinal"save".

Don’tsavethelistofequipment:

3.Machine-setting

3.1Common-settin

Mainlyincludeoperationmodel,displaycontrol,managementofcharacterlibraryandtheestablishmentofpublictimeetc.

3.1.1Operationmode:

◆Operationmodel:

Usersetstheoperationmodelaccordingtoactualequipmentmodel.Intheordinarycourseofevent,consumerequipmentneedonlychoose"consumptionequipment",suchas:

ER680,ER690andER691CUetc.Forattendancesmartcard,mostofthemodelscanbemixedtouse,meaningthatcanbeusedtoattendancemachines,canalsosmartcardatonetime,Suchas:

ER880,ER890andER981etc.Theuserscanalsochoosenottomixtouse.

Note:

1．ER889can’tuseassmartcard.

2．IfyouuseER88X,noneofthreemodelsischosen.

◆Commonsetting

Checkthewhitelist:

Aftertheparameterworks,usersmustdownloadthewhitelisttothemachinerybeforeattendanceorconsumption,otherwisetheequipmentwillshow"illegallist";Ontheotherhand,youdon'tneedtodownloadlistinadvance,anycardsarevalid.

Checktheblacklist:

Afterparameterworks,youbrushcardwithblacklist,themachinewillshow"youhavebeenplacedonblacklist.",andthemachinewillcollecttherecord,itisdifferentbetweenwhitelistandblacklist.

Whenthedataofsmartcardisfull,allowtouseit:

Aftertheparameterswork,ifthememoryofequipmenthasfull,youcancontinuebrushingcard,butitwillcoverattheheadofrecord.Instead,theequipmentwillshow“storagememoryhasfull.”youmuststoptobrushcard.

Thelimitedforrepeatingtousecard:

Aftertheparameterswork,ifyourepeattouseonecardtheequipmentwillinspected.Youcansetspecifictimeinthe"otheritems→alternation",forexample:

Supposethatrepeattimerecordsetforthreeminutes,aftercardholder0001brushscardonNo.01machine,hemustwaitforthreeminutestorepeatbrushingcard.

Thestoragedatabesidetheperiodoftime:

Mainlyaimatthefunction,as"otherpage→theperiodofusingcards",aftertheparameterworks,evenifthetimeofbrushingcarddoesn'tincludewithintheperiodoftime,theequipmentwillalsokeeprecords.

◆Smartcardsetting

Smartcardcheckuptheblacklist:

Primarilyinspect"smartcards”,aftertheparameterswork,ifyoudon'tdownload"thelistofsmartcard"inadvance,whenyouusethecardequipmentwillshow"illegalsmartcards."

Smartcardperformsalarmfunction:

OnlyapplytoER980machine,whenthemaincontrolhastwocardreader,includinginandoutcardreader.Aftertheparameterswork,ifyoudon’tbrushcard,theequipmentwillgiveanalarm.

Openthedoorovertime,equipmentgivesanalarm:

Ifthedooropensoverthetimethattheelectriclockisclosed,theequipmentwillgiveanalarm.

Thetimewhichelectricblockisclosed:

Afteryouopenthedoorwithcard,ifthetimeisoverthesettingvalue,theelectricwillcloseautomatically.

3.1.2Othersetting

◆Thelengthofcardnumber

Showlength:

meansshowingthelengthdigitofcardnumberonLCDscreenafterbrushingcard.

Datalength:

meansthelengthdigitofcardnumberwhichissavedinstoragerecord.

Suchas:

6.Whenyoubrushcard,thescreenwillshow00012345,thecardnumberinrecordstoragewillbe012345.

◆Thealternationofbrushingcard

Brushcardautomatically:

meanstwocardneedthealternation,thelargestvalueislessthan2.25second.

Repeatbrushingcard:

meansonecardneedthealternation,afteronlyshow“thelimitforrepeatbrushingcard”,thecardcanbeused.

◆Theperiodofbrushingcard

Aimattheattendancemachinetosetupthevalidtimescaleofattendance;Consumptionequipmentenactthevalidtimescaleofconsumption.Themostcanenactfourperiodoftime.Aftertheperiodisfinishedwith"accession”,clickthe"re-insert"

◆Periodofjowtime

Setupthetimeofattendancejow,themostcanenactfourperiodoftime.

Installprovisionalinformation,thestoragedayislessthan99day.Afterfinishingtheinformation,click”Send”.

Choosethefileofcharacterlibrary,andthenclick“Downloadcharacterlibrarytofile”

3.2.1Specificsettingofsmartcard

Specificsettingofsmartcardmeantheperiodoftimeforvariousofsmartcard,includingthestatetimeofsmartcard,accesstime,accesstimeofsuperuserandholidayaccesstime.ApplyonlytoER98Xseriesofmachines,concreteoperationwillbecompletedinthe"periodofsmartcardtime"page.。
