Thisisn’tthefirsttimethatresearchershavediscoveredthatcoffeeandsmilesmightgohand-in-hand.A2011studyfoundthatwomenwhodrinkcoffeecuttheirriskofdepressionby15percentcomparedtothosewhodon’t.MichelLucas,theheadresearcherofthemostrecentstudy,toldTheHuffingtonPostthatcoffeeaddictscanthankcaffeineforthegoodnews.Thedrugmayactuallyactlikeamildanti-depressantbytweakinglevelsofhappyhormones.
