IntroductionThe objective of this document is to describe the Use Cases of KAL POC specified in KAL POC architecture design document. It will
3、 cover the overall work process of Ramp Coordination. The following use cases will be defined: Display Assigned Flights Before Arrival After Arrival Loading Process Ready for Departure Alert Processing(To illustrate the use cases, the corresponding UI will be listed with each use case.)Figure 1 Use
4、Cases2. Actor2.1 RCRamp Coordinator (RC) is the responsible employee of ramp operation from the arrival to the flight departure. And he/she has the responsibility and authority to supervise ramp activities and all other activities for punctual operation and safe ground handling.RC should be assigned
5、 to each A/C or each flight for efficiency of A/C safety and ramp management in the ramp area. However, It is permissible for a RC to oversee other flight in case of unexpected or unavoidable circumstance such as flight irregularity, adverse weather etc.2.1.1 Authorities and ResponsibilitiesRC has a
6、uthorities to oversee safety weak area of ramp operation such as aircraft fueling, Cargo Compartment, ULD Condition/Locking, Dangerous Goods, Cargo Loading/Unloading. RC has authority over all area of workers from different group (fueling, cabin service, cargo, caterer, etc.) at the gate. RC is unde
7、r supervision of and accountable to the team leader or station manager. Team leader or station manager is responsible to establish standards and procedures for RC and to improve his/her quality of work also. RC has authority to utilize any available manpower at ramp area. RC is responsible to superv
8、ise for all ramp activities during the arrival, departure, unloading and loading process.2.2 Ramp ControllerRamp Controller monitors the status of all the flights in the airport. If he notices any issue which requires the attention and coordination of RC, he will contact RC.2.3 Cabin Crew and Cockpi
9、t CrewDuring ramp coordination, the activities of Cabin and Cockpit Crew will be monitored by RC.2.4 Ground Operation Staffs and EquipmentDuring ramp coordination, the work and status of Ground Operation Staffs and Equipment will be monitored by RC.2.5 OCCOCC monitors the status of the flights in bo
10、th air and ramp site. If he notices any issue which requires the attention and coordination of RC/Controller, he will discuss it with Ramp Controller and RC.3. Parking sport Inspection (Short Turn Around Flight) RC should show up at parking spot 5 minutes prior to A/C ramp in after verifying ETA. Inspect surrounding area, eliminate all the obstacles on the A/C moving path and If nece
16、ssary, request change of parking spot to the duty concerned. 4. A/C Tow-in Check. (Long Turn Around Flight) R/C should show up at designated spot and time to confirm completion of A/C tow-in, if not towed in, contact duty concerned of arrangement 5. Preparation of each section Check attendance of gr
17、ound staff (Marshaller, Cargo agent, Cabin cleaning, Fueling agent, Maintenance personnel, Bridge operator, Traffic agent) and operating status of prepared ground equipment(GPU, Towing truck, Step car, CGO loader, Lavatory truck, Water truck, Cabin service car, Fuel service truck etc) If unsatisfact

29、 start time, check cabin preparation status and contact traffic agent 2-3 minutes before boarding to line up of passengers or boarding of passenger on the ramp bus (if contacting traffic agent is not available, contact related department to relay message) When boarding delay is expected inevitably,
30、delay reason and expected boarding time should be informed to the traffic agents. 2. RC monitors Passenger Boarding After checking readiness for passenger boarding from purser, he/she shall receive boarding sign from cabin purser and notify to the agent (Pusser use either A/C interphone or direct co
31、ntact with captain for boarding approval) 3. RC Final confirmation Departure Process According to the report by each sectional manager, verify if all required processes such as boarding of passenger, catering, cargo, baggage and necessary documents (G.D. load sheet, CGO M/F etc) were completed without fail. If A/C departure delay is expected due to small number of missing passenger, make decision whether to off load after discussion with traffic agent(Depart or Departure agent). However, if this passenger has checked baggage, Regulation of
