The former is frequently applied in some common business English activities including answering business call, receiving foreign visitors, accom
10、modation service, requesting quotation as well as company introduction. And the later one mainly refers to various more professional business fields. The word “Business English” first appears in the 1950s, and it is widely used all around the world since then. Chinese enterprises have met many chall
11、enges and opportunities after China joining the WTO. Chinese enterprises need more talents who are well informed about international trade for economic globalization. Therefore, Business English courses have been offered in more and more schools. However, there exist some problems in the present bus
