12、sition 插入语- insertion or parenthesis 英汉语的差别有很多，表现之一是论述逻辑或叙述逻辑（logic in reasoning or narration）具体来说，这中差异又表现在行文层次和主次安排上，如： 句子重心的安排，是先说原因，还是先说结果；是先说条件，还是先说结论；是先说施事者，还是先说受事者，等。 因此，汉英翻译时就存在一个逻辑思维方式的转换问题，即安排行文层次和主次关系。长句的分析一般来说，造成长句的原因有三：1）修饰语过多2）并列成分多3）语言结构层次多 因此，翻译汉语长句，首先需要理解原文，特别是理解原文的意义层次。理解原文时应该采取下列步骤

13、：1）通读全文：目的在于从整体上把握整个文章的内容。2）分析句子结构：目的在于弄清词语与词语、句子与句子之间的语法和逻辑关系，找出代词的所指。 在分析句子时，首先要确定句子的主语、谓语和宾语，以便明了句子的主干。3）弄清句子中所有实词和虚词的词汇意义，理解全句的整体意义。汉语长句的翻译技巧1）顺序法2）逆序法3）综合法顺序法当汉语长句的叙述层次与英语基本一致时，可以按照汉语原文的顺序翻译成英语。例： 即使在我们关掉了床头灯深深地进入了梦乡时，电仍在为我们工作：帮我们开动电冰箱，把水加热，或使室内空调机继续运转。分析：上句由一个主句，三个伴随状语的句子以及位于句首的时间状语从句构成，共有五曾意思
